honest and accurate
28 October 2007
I always give an honest and accurate review and I will start by saying that the most important aspect of these apartment is that they are Residential and the apartments are not a holiday complex. When we arrived my husband thought that they were like an inner city scheme in the sun - not at all attractive in any way. On a more positive note the apartments were clean but extremely basic - having read through these reviews - please note there is NO air condition, washing machine or even a TV in these apartments, unless you have rented out an owners apartment. The pool area is very nice, please note that you have to pay 3 euros per day for a sun lounger, but as there were 3 lifeguards and a first aider when the pool was opened, I did not mind paying for the sun loungers and it also means that there is no rush for towels reserving loungers. Summing up the Minerva, for what we paid for 9 days, it was good value and is in an enxcellent location for supermarket, town shopping, beach and marina all within walking distance. On a down side, maid cleaning could have been improved, sheets changed once, towels twice, apartment cleaned only once in 9 days, I had to clean apartment during our stay.

Short break - excellent
24 April 2007
I have just got back from belamadenia and had the best time - only a shortstay but me and my boyfriend loved every minute - i was instantly attractedto this apartment - jUpiter - when i saw it online - even though its only 2 star rating it was well worth the money and it was excellent, pleasent staff and gorgeous view of the 5 pools situated round the side of the hotel - it was simply divine. I will definatley be returning in October for a bit longer this time - again with my boyfriend. I can not complain about a single thing - the area was fantastic, staff were excellent very helpful - they gave us a map and even let us keep our room on our last day till 5 pm instead of checking out at 12 noon - and they did that free of charge. Room was fantastic, basic but very equiped - you do not have to leave th apartment if you do not want to. you can cook, there is a fridge mircowave sofa bed wardrobe and dining table - also a balcony facing the 5 beautiful pools - all i was interested in was getting in the pool but if only it had not rained - other than the weater it was fantstic and want to be there now. we are going back in october and again next june for another romantic holiday - also tehre is a park situated at the back of the hotel as you walk down towards the front and its full of rabbits, peacocks, chicks, hens / cocks, gease, ostrages, goats etc... and they all wonder round they are not caged - they only things caged are he ostrages and goats - everything else just walks round you. its beautiful. Well worth the time to take a walk into. Anyway - hope that anyone who reads this review goes to this apartment becasue it is gorgeous - we paid £52.00 for 2 nights stay but were there 3 days and they gave the extra time for free - they look after you and they let you treat the place like your own. Well worth the stay and very cheap - can not wait to go back.

Review of 'MINERVA JUPITER APARTMENTS'
27 March 2007
We have just returned from a long weekend at Minerva Apartments. Although the apartment was basic, it was clean. The water pressure on the 1st Floor wasn't very good, so the shower was poor. The location is a bit far away from the beach, and the hill back up is a killer, although a taxi is only about 5 euros. The bars and restaurants in Bonanza Square are very good, and excellent value. We found everyone very friendly. We probably wouldn't use this accommodation if we were having a longer holiday, but for our short trip it was fine.

Review of 'MINERVA JUPITER APARTMENTS'

These apartments are very basic but comfortable. We had constant hot water which was a plus. The beds were not very good but we didn't pay a luxury price. good bars and restaurants close by.we hired a TV for 3Euros a day which gave us all the UK channels bbc1&2 itv1 channels 4 &5. This was a big plus on rainy days. our stay was at the end of Jan so didn't get to try the pool area which looked nice. Charge for sunbeds was 3 euro.

Review of 'MINERVA JUPITER APARTMENTS'
12 January 2007
The rooms were basic but clean as was the pool area. What we didn't like was the fact that the apartments are also residential and there were residents with dogs that were barking at all times. Also because it was a residential block as well as holiday they were very strict on any noise, we were told off because we were laughing coming home at night !!God help any young people out to enjoy themselves. The locaton was ok but was very hilly and wouldn't suit the elderly or anyone with walking problems unless they intended to stay around about and not walk up and down to the beach. Its not an apartment I would book again.

07 January 2007
Though they are not new the apartments are clean and well kept as are the grounds. Everything is to hand, 2 supermarkets, chemist, restaurants of all persuasions, bars... the lot. Bonanza Square is very 'ex pat' but its good fun and cheap n cheerful. 10 minutes walk to the beach, the same to Arroyo dr Miel where you can catch a train to Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Malaga and from there to just about anywhere, 25 mins walk to Tivli World theme park. €5 or lass to just about anywhere in the resort.
We will definitely use Minerva/Jupiter again - though probably not in the Summer as the apartment we had had no aircon.
