What our customers say
The Millenium Biltmore is the most beautiful hotel we have ever seen, having featured in hundreds of movies and being steeped in history - we didn't think we could go far wrong.
However, the location in downtown L.A. (which we thought would be convenient) is intimidating and frightening. The hotel is close to a subway station and the beautiful Perishing Square which unfortunately are cluttered with homeless people. You do not want to be out at night in this area, we stayed 2 nights and there was a shooting very close to the hotel one of them. Every time you leave the hotel people will ask you for money, unless you have transport do not walk around on foot.
If you fancy yourself as an aristocrat you will be comfortable here, but we felt somewhat 'underdressesd' while in the hotel whilst others walked around in Tuxedos and Ballgowns. It seems to be where the wealthy L.A. host their many weddings, conferences and balls.
Not the place to walk around in shorts and a t-shirt.
Beautiful hotel - Bad Location.
