I stayed at this hotel with my partner in July. We went to Paris to celebrate my birthday and after much research into the various Paris hotels we decided on the Meridien. When we got there check-in was very quick, the staff were polite and spoke english very well. The hotel is very modern which suited us but would not be for those looking for a traditional parasian hotel. The hotel is located about a minute from the train station which made it very easy to get around.
Although the hotel itself was definately up to 4* standard the room we were put in certainly wasn't. The floor and walls were all stained the side of the bath had caved in and the bathroom in general had quite a grotty feeling.. however they did change out rooms immediatly and asured us that this was a one off. Our new room was just as the picture on the website and it was mordern like the rest of the hotel. The room aside we had an excellent stay and would definately return. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury break in Paris but who are on a budget.
