Le Meridien Etoile is set on the elegant ‘Rive Droite’ (right bank) of the river Seine and is steps away from the Champs Elysees. In fact, many of the most celebrated sights in this luminous city are within easy access; the Luxor Obelisk in the Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre and Orsay museums, among a rich abundance of others. Le Méridien Etoile is opposite the Palais des Congrès, and business travellers can reach the commercial district of the city, La Défense, by way of the Porte Maillot metro station one minute away. A key feature of the hotel is the Jazz Club Lionel Hampton, one of the most distinguished institutions in Paris for lovers of jazz, with the best and most talented musicians coming to the hotel to perform. PLEASE NOTE: Renovation works are currently taking place in the guest rooms, the first phase will be completed at the end of April 2008. Then from the middle of May further works will be carried out for the second phase which will be completed by the end of October 2008. During this period disturbance to guests will be kept to a minimum.

Comfortable hotel. Stayed for a conference at Palais De Congress which was conveniently over the road. Colleagues staying in more expensive rooms were disappointed as all rooms same size, difference being the amount of toiletries supplied. Good breakfast. Good location, easily walkable to Arch De Triumph and 35 mins walk to Eiffel Tower. Bus stop to Eiffel Tower 5 mins away. Staff friendly. Hotel clean.
