Reception: Friendly English speaking staff.
Bedroom: Spotlessly clean, spacious room with plenty of wardrobe space, reasonably priced minibar and free room safe. Beds very very comfortable as was the heating with adjustable climate control.
Bathroom: Also spacious and spotless. Bright with large mirror and hairdryer with plenty of toiletries and towels provided.
Breakfast: A self service buffet with a varied selection to choose from by Continental standards! A wide range of cereals, breads, pasteries, fruits, preserves, spreads, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, teas, coffees amd juices. Tables were spotless and room was bright and airy with large windows giving a lovely sea view.
Situation: Perfectly located on the Promenade des Anglais. Within walking distance of 'Old' Nice, and the local trams, trainins and with the airport bus right outside the door (which came in very handy for us as there was a taxi strike on during our stay!). We took the local train on the 10-15 minute journey to Monaco and spent a day in Monte Carlo with trains leaving every 20 minutes or so.
Downside: The colour of the decor leaves a lot to be desired. Corridors and rooms are painted a very rustic orange colour with green doors.
