What our customers say
Got very good for three days bed and breakfast in late March. Very covienient location for Nice East, 10 minutes walk from Promenade des Anglais and old Nice. Nice residential area, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. Shops around this area a good cross section, from antiques, furniture, to really nice clothes and shoe shops. Didn't even seem too expensive, good value compared to Irish prices with our high cost of living. A good three couse dinner could be had from between €18 -€25. Beer €6 a pint and very good local provencal wine affordable. Back to the hotel. The rooms a bit small and on the shabby side,(we were on the 3rd floor) but spotlessly clean. Bathroom modern and perfectly adequate. Air con was fine. On the down side, walls were paper thin and it was hard to have a snooze after a hard days sightseeing, when we were privy to the next next rooms occupants very loud....eh..activity! Breakfast was ample, and as we were some of the last guests to go down in the morning the waiter very kindly told us we were welcome to take anything extra from the buffet before he cleared it away. Very nice friendly helpful staff. I would go back again, though would ask for a larger room next time..with thicker walls. On a last note, the hotel was undergoing renovation while we were there, but we were never disturbed by the builders.
