What our customers say
Back yesterday from the Menorca Mar Apartrments. The first time I have ever stayed in an apartment abroad (usually do B & B in Gites & Guesthouses etc). Nice place, very clean and well laid out little complex. We had number 57 which looked onto the pool. The lovely white towels get changed and the apartment also gets a clean round on alternate days from the cheery on-site maids (tho they dont wash up after you). If you wanted to be picky you could find some faults but I thought they were fantastic value for the money. Well placed and quiet but maybe a bit far out of town if you have no transport and have children to ferry about-although the little road train would be useful (and fun) for the kids. The timetable for this is at the start of the cul-de-sac leading to the apartments. We had a hire car but walked into town mostly if we wanted to-takes about 15-20 mins along the coast road. There are a couple of small supermarkets and bars within easy walking distance of the compex though; The first bar/restaurant you come to serves excellent food and not too expensive either (didnt eat at the others). You must go to the karaoke bar a couple of doors along too, at least once-it's hilarious (never been to one before). All in all, although we had changeable weather we enjoyed our time on Menorca and felt like we had 'come home' when we arrived back at the apartment after a days wandering elsewhere. That says a lot for me.
