This is an excelent hotel, i can't recomend it enough. Initially there was a problem as we had booked a double room, but in spain, that means two beds. The people on reception were very helpful in offering us alternatives and even had a room cleaned for us so we could get the room we wanted. This was a great first impression of the place. Location wise, it couldn't be better, we could walk all round the city centre from here. The room was big and the bed was huge, with an awsome view of the museum from the balcony. The breakfast at the hotel was great too, so much choice with helpfull waitresses. All in all a hotel which i couldn't think of any improvements they could make. A previous rater commented about the english of the staff not being great, i can speak spanish so was not a problem, but when my girlfriend needed to speak to them, their english was very good.

We had a nice clean room with a lovely balcony over looking the Museum of Ceramics.  It was a good size room and ensuite although no extractor fan working in the internal bathroom.  Staff were fine although we did have some problems being understood in English.  Our guide book did not have a comprehensive dictionary so our Spanish was very limited.  Since we were above the restarant, the scraping of chairs from guests at breakfast was the only annoying noise we were aware of.

Staying at a nice hotel and staying somewhere on a budget don't usually go hand in hand, however if you book well in advance the Melia Ingles Boutique could be one of those rare exeptions. We got a fantastic deal for three nights in Valencia for approximatley £125 for a double, slap bang in the heart of one of the nicest districts of Valencia. For discovering the old city you simply could not get a better location and the hotel was great. The room was quite large and had great air conditioning, the decor was more fitting of a 4 star than a 3 star. The bathroom was a large marble bathroom with a great shower. The room was equiped with mini-bar (not that we used it!) and big flat screen t.v, Now going to Valencia for 3 nights you probably won't watch alot of t.v however we were not complaing about getting such a nice well equiped room. The staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast was superb. You must sit outside the hotel and order a drink, situated next door to the ceramics museum which looks amazingly ornate. Great base camp to explore Valencia! 5/5

I would definitely recommend this Hotel, well worth the money. Located in the center of Valencia on a lovely street. The building itself and the surrounding buildings are very nice. The rooms are spotless and everything is in working order including the Sony Plasma TV !!! The staff at reception and the adjoining restaurant were very friendly, they even trusted us enough to tell them what we had taken from the mini bar !!!! The many city center restaurants and bars are on your doorstep and the beach a 10 minute bus ride away or 10 euros in a taxi. For the money  i paid i was not expecting a hotel of this quality, if this was in a similar location in a major British city i would guess you would pay 5 times the amount i did. If i go to Valencia again i will stay here.

Our stay at the Melia Ingles Boutique was wonderful.  The hotel was ideally located to visit all the sites in the historic centre.  The tramway allowed access to the beach in 10 minutes, where there were excellent restaurants on the sea front.  The hotel itself was more than adequate for all of our needs.  The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were helpful.  I fully recommend a visit!
