The hotel is great, no problems at all with the service, room etc. Only problem we found its 15/20 minutes walk from the main center, train station and attractions.

WE were very impressed by the standard of cleanliness and breakfast at at the Melia.
I was surprised to be charged for car parking,this did not apply in Cadeques where we stayed earlier in our holiday.

Review of 'HOTEL MELIA GIRONA'

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Melia Girona in October 2004, when we traveled to Catalonia with our church choir, on a concert tour of the Gerona province.  Of my travels over three continents and a number of different countries, I rate the Hotel Melia Girona as one of the best hotels in which I have ever spent any time.  The facililtes are excellent, the food is excellent, and the staff are outstanding.  We hope to return to Girona again soon, and we hope to stay at the Hotel Melia Girona.  We strongly recommend it for anyone.
