The Meliá De Mar hotel is an adults only hotel located in the residential area of Illetas, with a privileged position facing the sea and offering a private beach. Hotel was beautiful and service was great.
Our room was beautiful and all overlook the terrace bar, pool and have a sea view. The hotel is beautiful and staff extremely helpful and friendly.
We played tennis and used the gym and swam every day.
For the most part breakfast was good. Lots of lovely fruit and great choice of cold meats and cheeses. Hot food however only warm and not really tasty.
The only complaint we have was the relentless piano music coming from the pool bar which could be heard in our room even if the balcony doors were closed. It was fairly constant throughout the day up to 12.30 one night. The following day it started up at 7am but after three tunes it stopped - I presume because of complaints.
Anyway, despite this we had a lovely time and I would visit this hotel again.
