The Residence Giorgio is a modern hotel right at the heart of Athens, very close to the shopping and business area around Omonia Square. The rooms are modern, well equipped (ours had a jacuzzi bath!) and reasonably quiet for a busy central location. The service was good throughout including friendly breakfast staff. It is the best hotel I have used in Athens. My only gripe is the vacuum cleaner did not seem to do its job in our room so the carpets were a bit grubby. The reception staff were great and value for money was good. The location is very convenient for the metro and buses. We even walked to the Acropolis along fun shopping streets.
