Very nice hotel-beautiful surroundings-right on the beach. Staff were excellent and rooms and amenities were excellent. Food was ample and enjoyable. Will go back

This hotel really grew on me. It had a spacious feel - and also a relaxed atmosphere. Our room was smaller than the one shown in the picture - which was an initial disappointment as we had paid a bit extra for a superior room. We were told we had been upgraded too. But in fact the room was perfectly fine. The only thing that might not be to some people's tastes was the open plan bathroom - ie it wasn't enclosed by walls and a door. You will be pleased to hear the toilet was separate though. I don't know if all the rooms in the hotel are like that but certainly the ones I saw into, along our corridor, shared the same open plan layout regarding the bathroom. The pool - which we didn't use as was Feb - was amazing - huge - and there was an indoor pool too. It would be a fantastic hotels for families with children in the warmer weather. Don't get your hopes up about the gym though - it is 4 pieces of very old weights equipment in a dark and damp room. We thought the food was excellent. In the restaurant we used - there were two open at the time - there was what they called live cooking - and we could get freshly cooked meat and vegetables to order on a grill whilst we watched. The staff were excellent - really friendly and hard working. The location of the hotel was perfect - right on the beach (which was so clean) and about a twenty minute walk along a promenade to Roquetas itself. This was one of the closest hotels to the town - almost all the others were quite a bit further along the promenade away from town. Walking in the opposite direction along the promenade away from town, you eventually passed most of the other hotels and came upon a nature reserve/salt flats. I think this hotel deserves a 5 rating - my initial disappointment about the room was overcome by everything else.

Review of 'Mediterraneo Park'

I have stayed in several hotels in Roquetas but the Mediterrano Park is by far the best,The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast and dinner in the restaurant had a wide selection to suit everyone. All the staff in the hotel were very helpful and friendly. But best of all was the pool it is so big it wraps itself all around the hotel with two bridges to cross and a jacuzzi in the middle, at night it is lit up and with the entertainment the hotel provides a very pleasent place sit and have a drink.

Roquetas is a lovely family resort with a beautiful promenade with cafes and bars along the sea front and still has a spanish feel.

Review of 'MEDITERRANEO PARK'

We stayed at the Hotel from the 12/04/05 - 19/04/05.We had no problems with this Hotel at all.The room was Excellent, maid service daily.All the staff we spoke to were helpful and pleasant.We stayed Half-Board and never had a problem finding something we liked on the extensive Buffet menu.
You walk through the Garden of the Hotel and you are on the Beach.
It was very early in the season so it was not very busy.
The resort has a main street for shopping (Gifts,cafes etc)and a fair selection of Bars/Cafes overlooking the Beach.
