The Mediterranean Palace is located at the south end of Tenerife next to the African Coasts and beside the sandy Playa del Camison. In the surrounding area guests will find plenty of shopping and entertainment venues, in addition to links to the local transport networks. Guests staying at the Mediterranean Palace can take advantage of all the facilities within the entire Mare Nostrum complex. The en suite guest rooms are tastefully furnished and well appointed with all of the modern comforts you would expect of a hotel of its class, including satellite TV and air conditioning. Those looking for an alternative to the beach can enjoy a refreshing dip in the hotel’s inviting outdoor swimming pool, with children’s section and snack bar. The hotel offers more sports and leisure facilities than it is possible to use within your stay, including a Spa and Health Centre for adults and kids club and playground for the children. A perfect destination for families and couples alike the Mediterranean Palace offers excellent facilities and an ideal base from which to explore Tenerife. For those on half or full board, meals are served at the Mediterranean Palace buffet, however guests can eat at the Italian Restaurant buffet located in Cleopatra hotel for a supplement charged per person per day at the hotel. The Hotel Mediterranean Palace will not accept bookings of 2 adults + child + cot in their standard twin rooms (max occupancy is 2 + child or 2 + cot).
What our customers say
Have used this hotel twice now and also the Cleopatra next door twice. The main hotel and its four sister hotels all form part of the Mare Nostrum Resort. Some would say the rooms are a bit dated in the Med. Palace but that could be said of a lot of the hotels in Las Americas and its surrounding areas.
All staff are helpful, we rang before hand for a favoured room and floor and this was sorted for us. Its position in Las Americas is spot on. Right on the beach if you want it. Loads of shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
New since last year was that robes and slippers had been placed in the bathroom. The mini-bar could now be emtied and you could use it yourself for 2.85 Euro's a day. Useful for beer, wine, and mik etc for use on the balcony. We took a travel kettle for that all important cuppa on the balcony in the morning.
We tended to use the Roman pool next door in front of the Cleopatra which was quieter than the main pool of the Med. Palace. Nothing wrong with that pool but if poolside activities annoy you then use the one next door.
Look forward to returning to this hotel next year as long as it remains to be good value.
