This is a little gem of a hotel, when you consider what you can end up with in Paris. It is fantastic value for money and situated perfectly across the road from Balard metro station. You can be anywhere in Paris within 30 minutes and the hit tourist places are within 10 minutes. Car parking was very secure - so much so it took us twice around the block to find it!!!! Two minor gripes, that didn't really impact on our enjoyment...... 1, we was on the seventh floor and the lifts kept breaking down and 2, the breakfast room is small so we found ourselves waiting for a table to become free.

Review of 'MEDIAN PARIS PORTE DE VERSAILLES'

VERY EASY TO FIND AS IT IS ONLY 100 METRES OR SO FROM THE PERIPHERIQUE AT PORTE DE SEVRES AND RIGHT NEXT TO THE BALARD METRO STATION. SECURE PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL FOR 11 EUROS A NIGHT - QUITE CHEAP BY PARIS PRICES. THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO BUMP START MY CAR AFTER THE BATTERY DIED! THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN, BREAKFAST WAS THE NORMAL CONTINENTAL FARE BUT SOME AREAS WERE IN NEED OF A COAT OF PAINT AND NEW CARPETS. IT IS VERY CLOSE TO A NUMBER OF BARS AND RESTAURANTS AND WITHIN 5 MINUTES WALK OF ONE OF PARIS'S LITTLE KNOWN GEMS - PARC ANDRE CITROEN. WE WOULD CERTAINLY CONSIDER THIS HOTEL WHEN VISITING PARIS AGAIN.

Review of 'MEDIAN PARIS PORTE DE VERSAILLES'

The hotel had really friendly staff that were on call 24 hours a day and spoke very good English. The nearest metro stop (ballard) is literally over the road making everywhere in Paris easy to get to, especially when using the 1 day travel passes. The breakfast consisted of a wide variety of food, ranging from continental to bacon and eggs. All of which tasted nice. The down side was the size of the room which was relatively small but tidy and clean. Would certainly use again due to the location and cost
