Good Hotel
15 May 2008
We stayed here 2 nights. We were in the basement, room a bit small but perfectly adequate, en-suite had a good shower. Free Continental style buffet breakfast, which we had, was good. Varied cooked breakfast options were also available at a small cost. Agree that the staff were very friendly and location ideal for central London.

Review of 'Mayflower'
19 February 2007
My mother booked this hotel, having read the reviews, for my friend and I to have a short break. We are 17. It far exceeded our expectations and we would certainly go back again. the hotel was attactive with marble and fountains and we were upgraded to an apartment, which was wonderful. The location was perfect with the tube and Somerfields just round the corner, pleasant area, very helpful staff. Breakfast was continental and just ok but we weren't bothered about that. All in all excellent value and well worth going to.

Staff very friendly and accomodating. Room was on the small side but we had 2 double beds in it! The beds were a little short as another customer had pointed out but at 170cms it was fine for me. Very close to the station which was very convenient but our roomed overlooked the station and was quite noisy. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy and the fruit salad for breakfast was the best I've ever tasted!! I would stay here again and am planning to do so next spring.

Absolutely delighted with the Mayflower
08 May 2006
We booked the Mayflower on reviews that we had read. We were a group of eight friends all escaping from our young families to spend a weekend in London, we were absolutely delighted with our choice of accommodation. The hotel was not only spotlessly clean but the decor was warm and inviting. The location was perfect with the Earls Court tube just around the corner. Lovely healthy continental breakfast or a tasty fry if you wish. Will definitely return to this Hotel.

Excellent Service
13 March 2006
I found the hotel to be extemely pleasant, clean and well decorated, in addition to being ideally located and affordable. However, what surprised me the most was the standard of service which was considerably better than many of the more expensive hotels i have stayed in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Review of 'MAYFLOWER'
17 October 2005
The hotel was a lovely mix of modern and 'old' features, eg. wooden Moroccan style features combined with marble and chrome. Our room was at the back of the hotel, which meant you could hear the nearby Earls Court tube trains and announcements. A room at the front of the hotel would probably be quieter, even though there is a road it didn't seem particularly busy. Our room wasn't the largest I've been in, but it was clean and the decor was fresh - we did have to crawl in and out of our bed though as it was set in an alcove with no room at the sides to walk by! The continental buffet breakfast had a good choice, including fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cheeses, breads/croissants etc. The hotel is a very short walk from the tube station and shops/pubs/restaurants but far enough away not to be amid the noise and hustle and bustle. The staff were friendly and despite the noise of the tube trains we loved the hotel and would definitely go back (asking for a room at the front next time!)
