A few quite nights in, think again!!!!

The rooms are quite basic and a little shabby but have all the necessities and a balcony which is nice. Try to avoid getting a room that faces the road as the traffic can be quite noisy and carries on through the night. The BIGGEST problem is they only offer BBC 1 on TV. We were hoping for a few quite and relaxing nights in but it's a very boring with only BBC1. There were 2 other channels but they were very fuzzy and when I asked reception they said that's just the way they are and if BBC is working then that's fine. The hotel has a kids club for 5 year olds and up. It offers nightly entertainment. The location is good as it's within walking distance of the harbour and bar street with many restaurants.
I wouldn't recommend the hotel as there are so many better options available.

We thorougly enjoyed our last minute booking to the Mayfair Aparthotel. We were very impressed with the standard of our room - we had a king size bed (other holiday makers not so enthusiastic about the apartments). The food was excellent and the staff could not have been more friendlier or attentive. The area around was fairly quiet but you only had to walk 20 mins to the main sea front and port which was lovely. Will be visiting again

We can recomend Mayfair . Our stay was perfect the staff on all levels were very good . The reception area was very comfortable and the rooms were lovely .

Fantastic holiday, we have stayed at The Mayfair twice now and it just keeps getting better....the entertainment is second to none and the staff are fantastic!!! It's not The Ritz but it's spotlessly clean and comfortable and after 2 weeks it really felt like home.....Roll on next year!!

i think that the mayfair hotel was the best hotel that we ever stayed in, there was about 32 of us because my sister was getting married, all went well,the hotel was amazing fun for evey one, no body got board, there was gyms to work out, two swimming pools, my room was grate, IF YOU WANT A FAB HOLIDAY!!!!! GO TO THE MAYFAIR HOTEL IN PAPHOS!!!!!!!! IT WAS GRATE

This is a brilliant family or couples hotel. We have just returned from our fourth stay at this beautiful and friendly hotel. The Animation Team are great and make this hotel. you can either laze around the pool and relax, or enter into the spirit of things with volleyball, water polo, killer darts, killer pool, french boules etc during the day. At night, the Animation Team once again were brilliant, singing, dancing and up to all their antics. The three barmaids/waitresses in the night bar are lovely and they smile all the time. The hotel is always clean and if you have a problem it is corrected quickly and without fuss. The three pools are wonderful - and when we had a quick week in March of this year the indoor pool was open and again really nice. The hotel has a great gym for you to work out in if you want to, along with a sauna and a masseuse.
In fact we had such a good time that we have already booked to return in September 2006 along with two other families we met.
That will be our 5th time and we are now in the process of booking for next May 2007. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough.

I would recommend the Mayfair hotel, would certainly book to stay in this hotel again. The resort of Paphos was very nice,the ONLY downfall was that there wasnt much of a beach. Hotel pools very nice! Overall an excellent choice.
