Excellent hotel for the money. Great location close to town centre and overlooking the beach. We stayed half board and breakfast was great, definitely something for everyone from healthy fruit and cereal options to fried eggs and bacon. Dinner wasn't so great so we only dined there a couple of evenings. Roof top terrace is an excellent space for adults to relax as most of the kids like to stay at the downstairs pool (small but seems to be the same with all hotels in the area). As we had a few days of cloudy weather the indoor pool also turned out to be a good bonus. Overall for a beach resort hotel I wouldn't have any problems recommending it. Request a pool/beach view room much nicer view than rooms at the back of the hotel.

The Maritim is well located within Callela.  A very short stroll to the beach along a lovely promenade with plenty of benches for resting and people watching!
Our room was clean, air conditioned and had a fabulous seaview.  The food was OK however lunch rather than dinner was a better option (less busy and plenty of choice).
Hotel staff were really accommodating and helpful.

The Hotel is ideally located the pool athough small was adequate. The entertainment during the day for the children was conducted with enthusiasm by the staff who worked hard and during the evening on a small scale the entertainment was good. There was a good selection of food. On a downside there is smoking allowed in the rooms and hotel one of our rooms smelt of tabacco, the hotel did change the curtains however the smell to a non smoker was still strong. Calella is a nice resort with various nationalities.

The Maritim is an ideally located hotel right on the beach.  Although our room was small and out the back facing another hotel it was very clean and the air conditioning was great.  The food was not particularly great in the evenings but breakfast was fine.  The pool area is quite small and you have to be down early to secure a sunbed.  The pool was very clean and the water very clear.  The reception staff were very helpful and accomodating.

We have stayed at the Maritim 3 times over the last 3 years and will be going back again in July.  I have just returned from Spain and our stay in the Maritim was great.  We were well looked after by the staff and our room was facing the sea with a good 180 degree view of the sea.
Travel in and around Calella is easy as the public transport is regular and cheap. The maritim is situated close to the bars and nightclubs and also the town which has a good shopping centre with cafes and ice cream along the way.

I would recommend  this hotel and Calella at any time.
