Just returned from our second visit this year. Having just read the review of Mark ( see previous review ).Perhaps I am not surprised at his comments. This is a hotel and location which is suitable for older couples who want a relaxing holiday. September is a lot quieter than we experienced in July and a number of shops and bars locally were shutting down.One thing I have to agree with is the quality of the food this time.
It certainly is not as good as our previos visit. The catering manager - TONY, joined us at our table one evening, when I expressed my concern over the quality.
He tried to explain that he has a budget to work to and food has virtually doubled in price since he budgeted pre season.
I did offer a friendly warning ---- If the food does not improve then many guests will not return. He will be arranging a meeting with his principals at Iberostar ( the chain owners ) to try and rectify the problem.
Once again, we had a very enjoyable, relaxing time.
