The Coral Beach is a great looking hotel, it's very large and sprawling place and it takes a bit of time before you can find you way around. It is designed in an Arabic style with loads of nice traditional features. The rooms are spacious and also have an Egyptian decor. I did get bitten one evening by mosquitos in my room but I think this was because I slept without the air conditioning on one night, I think the cool air would have kept them sleepy. The buffet style food is great, lots of variety, there is always about 7 different types of bread and each service has a cook in the restaurant preparing something like pasta and Mexican food to order as well as other different food in hot containers. Pudding usually involves pastries, loads of cakes and fruit. For breakfast a cook will make omelets to order and pancakes, there is also cereal and lots of other things to tempt you. If you are diving the boats moor up next to the hotel so you don't have to walk far at all. As mentioned elsewhere drinks are comparable to English prices. There is a TGI Fridays restaurant nearby though you need to get a cab as it's just across the harbour and there is no bridge so you need to go the long way round. I was diving every day so can imagine you may get bored if just lazing by the pool all day.
