food excellent, hotel looks a bit tired and in need of some tlc. staff are in general almost rude and if you are all inclusive you are almost ignored at the bar areas! kids entertainment is ok - the team try hard but lack quality. pool arear is great and no need to get up at 7am for beds. Reception is always packed and undermanned. All in all - not too bad for a late booking with little other choice.

this hotel is absolutly superb, the pool is fantastic and no matter what time you go into the restaurant the food was piping hot. Something that i have never come across before when travelling abroad. The only downside that we found was the evening entertainment. We shall be going back

We enjoyed our week stay 12-19 Feb. 2008. The room was spacious and we enjoyed having a settee to relax upon. The TV suffers from having no satellite channels in English [apart from world news on BBC]. You pay a deposit of 15 euros for remote control.
However the lounge area and bars were enjoyable. The entertainment for adults is limited off season.
The food is excellent, as the weather was poor we comfort ate. Plenty of hot and cold dishes, a variety of fish and meat each meal. I have a sweet tooth and the gateaux and other deserts could not be faulted. The dining at the other hotels in the chain is even better. The dining rooms at Rock Garden and Crystal park.
You do receive excellent value for money. Suitable for couples, or with kid’s there is plenty to do. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Couldn't fault this hotel at all! Stayed only one night as we hadn't been able to extend our other hotel. Myself and 3 friends stayed here one night and the Primavera Dos for 4 nights. The reception was friendly, helpful and even tho were were late off the flight there was no problem checking in. The room was clean, spacious and we each got a key card, which we didn't get in our next hotel which made it diffucult if we split up. Clean and all the amenities needed. Would stay here again for longer!

march 2007 my husband and i went for the 1st time 2 spain, as my husband said he didn't like spain even tho he had never been to spain be fore.
well he loved the hotel that much that we are about to take a 2 weeks holiday here again. 16/10/2007 the staff all very friendly rooms really good size ( the pillows not the best you could have ) and the fact that you have 12 other hotels you can eat and drink at what more could any 1 ask for.and the bus driver GEORGE he is a nutter but a friendly 1. its the only hotel we have stayed at where you can get drink after the bars have closed. if you are thinking of staying at this hotel but not sure well take our word it was really great

Wouldn't reccommend the Magic Monika, not very clean, looks like it needs a refurbishment. Staff not helpful, seem to cater more for the Spanish and French.
Not much around Cala Finestrat, it's like a concrete jungle loads of towers being erected.

I stayed at the monika, the restaurant was more like a canteen at butlins, the food was horrid half of it was deep fried, the rooms were horrible, the pool was massive, the reception guy`s were helpful.the only good side was that you could use other hotel`s in the group which we eat at the crystal part, and the hotel fenica, the food there was very nice, the monika is not ideal situated but their is a bus that takes you to the other hotel`s within the group the downside is you wait for ages, get a taxi it`s only 3 euro`s.

the staff were very nice from this hotel. i would really love to go back, i found out that two staff who i was talking to was really nice. they also spoke english which was also very helpfull, the bedrooms were nice and clean, i pool was good i was in it alday, the bar was good alot of choose of drink, the man brought out some piella it was very lovely all the food was it is the best hotel i have ever stoped in i would go back there any day well if them 2 staff was there i would love to meet up with them and one of the staff was from england i loved it.
