The hotel was very well maintained. The room we had was very spacious and very clean with maid service everyday. All the staff were very friendly. The food was of good quality but not always as hot as it could have been. Would certainly stop at this hotel in future. Overall a very good holiday

Although we have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, this time we did not enjoy it as much.  The hotel was full of Spanish and although this is not usually a bad thing, the hotel catered solely for their Spanish guests.  Our room was a very small double room, although I thought I had requested a twin room.

One thing I must say the reception staff were absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, so the Fenicia scored highly here.

The food in the restaurant was unfortunately always cold, we thought it was a one off but after the third day we realised that this was it.  We spent the rest of the holiday either at breakfast in the Monica Holidays (which was brilliant though a long way to walk) or by the middle of the week we were going to the Villa del Mar just ten minutes walk away.  The food at the Villa del Mar was amazing, hot, varied and very good.  I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't been allowed to use the facilities of the other hotels.

The lounge in the Fenicia was very good.  Due to the fact that the hotel was full of Spanish, as soon as they could they were in the Boom-Boom bar and if you weren't in there for about 7.00 p.m. you couldn't get a seat, so we spent all our time in the Aurora Lounge which was brilliant with good staff and squishy sofas.

Overall I probably would go back but more than likely, but would use the Villa del Mar's restaurant.

The Fenicia is ideally located between the two Benidorm beaches and the Old Town is right on the doorstep which was brilliant for us as our 5 year old didn't have to walk for miles!  The hotel was clean, friendly and good value for money.  Plenty of choice at mea ltimes and as we were all inclusive, we were able to use our AI card at all the other Magic Hotels in Benidorm which meant we eat, drink and use the facilties at the other 10 hotels in the chain.  Would certainly recommend this hotel, particularly if you like the beach and shops - didn't think that the pool was that good for younger children as it didn't have a shallow end.

Hotel up a backstreet faily close to beach. Drinks were terrible on AI, no matter what drink you had they all tasted of pernod. Cannot comment on food didn't want to try it? Room was clean. OK if you like large hotels with a lot of spanish guests and a fairly small pool, wouldn't go back.
