Magic Atrium Beach

16 June 2008
As long as you understand what you are getting with this accomodation you shouldn't be disappointed. These are residential apartments and so do not have any of the facilities you would expect from a hotel. There is a pool but no sun loungers or snack bar etc. As there is no manned reception desk keys have to be collected from the Hotel Monika Complex which is a 5 minute walk. They cannot be described as self catering either for although there is a full kitchen including washing machine there are no pots and pans, or even a toaster/kettle??!! The apartment was big and modern however and ours came with a balcony as big as a 5 a-side court with blinding views (we were on the 26th floor). The surounding area was nice but quiet. There was a number of bars and restaurants but if your looking for a p*ss up you may as well stay closer to the centre as Benidorm square (Stag/Hen centre of excellence) was a good hour and a half walk or 10 euro taxi ride away. Having said that we ended up there just about every night!

The accomodation was excellent, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, but don't expect to self cater as there is nothing to cook or eat with and no toaster, we asked for these things at the Monika Hotel but didn't get them, beautiful views from 14th floor but no chairs on the balcony. Make sure you get dropped off at the Monika Hotel as we walked the streets looking for it as we had to pick the keys up from there.

We were plesently suprised to find the accomodation was of a very high standard and wery clean and tidy.
Having a double bed and not twin beds as is normal was a bonus and also a separate lounge area and a good sized balcony, with lovely
views over the pool area. We did not eat at the apartment complex
but prefered to eat out in the town its self. The staff in the Antrim Beach were very helpful and pleasant.
The only down side was trying to find the complex. The sign atthe top of the apartment block was Monika Holidays and not Antim Beach also a lot of the signs for Finnestrat were directing you towards
Terrie Miteca and not to the beach area where the Atrim Beach is.

THE APARTMENT WAS HUGE 2 BEDROOMS ONE WITH EN-SUITE. IT HAD FULL FITTED KITCHEN WITH FULL SIZE FRIDGE FREEZER. IT HAD UTILLITY ROOM WITH WASH BASIN FOR WASHING CLOTHES AND DRYER. IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO LIVE IN ALL YEAR ROUND. BROCHURE SAID ITS FOR THE BUDGET TRAVELLER BUT WE COULD HAVE LIVED THERE EASILY, IT IS A RESIDENTIAL BLOCK. THE HOTEL MONIKA ACROSS THE STREET WAS HUGE AND POOL AMAZING.ALL IN ALL EXCELLANT ACCOMODATION.
