Despite the hotel staff being polite and helpful this was the worst hotel I have stayed in. We were located on the top floor (9th) of the building and we were constantly having to use the stairs as the lifts were rarely working and on one occasion we were stuck in one for 15 minutes. The rooms were basic but clean and the showers frequently lost pressure during use. Despite this we had a great holiday.

I stayed here in May 08 for a week and for the price it was a great find! Our balcony faced BCM and to be honest i never really heard any noise. With it been a young persons hotel there was abit of noise at night but as I wasn't coming in till 3 or 4 it didn't bother me. Our room slept 4 and we coped fine, it was way big enough, the beds were comfy, bathroom was great and we even had air-con! 2 mins walk from the strip and 30 seconds from BCM made sure was brilliant plus mcd's, KFC and all sorts of food places right across the road, nothing could have been closer! Pool wasn't that great but the beach was only 2 mins walk. Room cleaned, beds changed and clean towels everyday added to the great location made sure that we will be returning! Can't do better for your money!

I spent a month in Magaluf and stayed in 4 diff places alltogether, this place was the cheapest we found online, and was great for the price. it was better size than the other places we stayed, noise at night was bit of a problem due to BCM bein so close, and people gettin home drunk an shoutin an singin. but most other hotels are about the same tbh! nice and clean though, and no bugs! only real problem was our toilet which was noisy and didn't always flush. kitchen very basic, but things can be hired from reception. hotel is right next to BCM, and only a few mins walk to the strip. no worse than any other hotel i stayed in, so dont bother payin extra for anywhere else!

You couldnt find a cheaper place to stay but it was superb! went out for my mates stag do in may and had a great time. The apartments were huge compared to some i'v stayed in and were right in the centre of town. the place was clean and the staff friendly. if your looking for just a room then you couldnt find better

only back from magaluf since last week, may 08, absolutely loved it!! apartments were perfect for me and my 4 friends, right next door to bcm nightclub so when you're soaked from the foam and water party, you're literally about 10seconds from your apartment!!going back in september we loved it so much and we'r definitely staying at magaluf playa again!!

great hotel for 18-25 year olds..but if your looking for any besides basic dont look there...care free apartments,no mither of staff at all..rooms are small and seemed to be damp to me n my mate..had a good time there tho cos its what ya make it...but defo bog standard..no kettle,toaster basically its a shell n somewhere to get ya haed down...maid did the bed once and towels twice but all in all had a cracking week....just expect the bare minimum..would i stay there again?? no..spend an extra 50 quid for room its worth it!!

What an brilliant holiday, I went in may 2008 with 4 of my mates and it was fantastic, the apartments were better than we could have hoped for, right next door to BCM so u dont have far to go when your soaked thru from a night at the foam party or water party, would 100% recommend it

This hotel is perfect for young groups just looking for a room to shower and sleep in. four of us shared and the room was huge with 2 big balconies and a decent size bathroom and kitchen.
Air con is a total god send and well worth the deposit. The only bad thing is that the safety deposit boxes are in reception but that is really minor.
The pool wasnt too good we used the junglas just round the corner cos its huge!!
As for sleep well i didnt notice the noise but that might be because it was us making it or the fact that we drank enough to sleep through everything!
BCM is amazing you have just got to go to the water party. BCM square has a great atmosphere to get your night started!
Love magaluf so much returning to this hotel in june for my third year in a row!

stag weekend

got no more than we expected for a gang of lads on a stag weekend. Some where to get your head down and get showered in the evening. bit on the small side for four adults but we didnt notice after the initial shock when we arrived. Overall i think every one in the party of 9 enjoyed our three night stay and would return to this accomadation in the same circumstances, not for families and couples unless you are young on a small budget and you dont expect more than you have paid for.

stayed here for four nights with both my brothers and father after sadly losing mother to cancer some two months earlier.Came to scatter here ashes with which was no problem.
We found the apartment abit on the small side for four adult men but,was reasonably clean although lacking in some of the basic cutlery,cups and pans(only 1 sauce pan and no frying pan,also no toaster).We stayed for four nights and only had clean towels once and no change of bedding.But all in all was an enjoyable stay if very basic and for only £100 for four adults for four nights stay, definately value for the money you pay.

we went to magalluf in august 07 there was a only three of us that went but the room was great we had a big bedroom living bathroom and an ok sized kitchen and two massive balconys which was great!
are maids come in are room 3 times we was there gives us clean towels n changed are sheets once which we found was great we wasnt expexting much but we got more than what we expected.
the bar next to the hotel lord nelsons wasa great too they was all friendly in really helpful. i would recommend this hotel to any body as were goin back next year and we cant wait!!

i took my 21 and 17 year old sons to celebrate my sons 21st bday. the playa was the ideal place to be the accommodation was basic but clean. the location is fantastic for all bars, clubs, and restaurants.

Just got back on the 4th sept 2007 from a week of booze and sun. Didn't think much of the hotel at all. No pans to cook with and only got one key between the four of us. Got charged 10 euros for another key. If you want a very cheap basic holiday then this is the one. Great if you are not fussy no good if you have standards. The location was fantastic tho.

Even though this hotel is very basic it is all you need if your going out there to sun it up in the day! The rooms are very big and the balcolnys all have a great view. The maids came in 3 times in one week and changed towels each time. It is right next door to BCM which is good when you go to the water and foam partys as you don't have to walk to far looking like a drowned rat! As its right next door to bcm and the square you would think that the noise would be alfull, you couldnt be more wrong! You cannot hear a thing! It is a 5 min walk from the beach and the strip and 15 mins up the road s Pirates and 2 water parks. Everyone who stays at the playa wants to have fun and im sure like us you will be invited to some pre and post clubbing partys! It can get noisy, but if your planning on getting anywhere near as drunk as we did, you wont care! The pool is small but great as it has a bar and a cafe next to it,. but with the beach down the raod we just went there. I have gone back 4 times and loved it more and more every time.

Having read some of the horrific reviews on the Magaluf Playa we were a little concerned! Having just returned, I have no hesitation in recommending the place. We were a group of 14 lads of mixed ages and the place had everything we wanted. The bar offered decent prices (5 E for 2 bottles of beer), the restaurant served lovely food and the rooms were clean. The lifts were a little hit and miss, but the location could not be faulted! I would certainly stay here again with a group of friends. For a group looking for a 'mad' trip, this was a top hotel, with top staff and a top location!

Me and my mates really enjoyed ourselfs, great location and u have everything u need within walkin' distance!!!!!!!!!! very noisey as it is near the square and staggering home distance from bcm!!!!! just be carefull - the drinks and shorts are reallt waterd down!!!! ask for deals on bottles 5 euro shoild get u 2 bottles. but it was clean and swimming pool was fab - wish i was still there!!!!!

Great location, right next to BCM's and short walk to beach and strip etc. Hotel receptionist was rude and unhelpful, wouldn't let us check in until 4pm!!! Make sure you take your hotel voucher, as they wouldn't accept our booking confirmation on its own! We were on a hen do and had a fab time Hotel was VERY noisy to sleep in though as lots of noise from arrogant drunk men not knowing where they are!!!

Couldn't have wished for a better venue to stay in. It was right next to BCM's. There was 16 of us on a girly hen do and we were catered for perfectly. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. The rooms were spacious, basic but very clean. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful when one of our cases didn't turn up. The pool and pool bar was great. Only complaint was one of the lifts was broken for the whole time we were there. Overall, really good.

Although basic the accommodation was clean,and exactley what was needed for our hen weekend. The staff at the Magalluf Playa were excellent. They were very friendly and most helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better location than where the Playa is situated. As I said the Magalluf Playa is very basic but all my party said they would definately go back.

well good location, right in the middle of everything (beach, strip, food all minutes away). Cant say what the pool was like cause there were about 20 body builders there everyday but the girls behind the bar looked after us!
going back this year, group has grown from 8 to 63!!!!!!!!!! RATED PLAYA

i stayed at the magaluf playa during the summer of 2005. at the time all i could find on here was bad reviews so we were all abit worried about what we were going to find... it turned out to be a brilliant place to stay. staff were very helpful. i wouldnt recommend this holiday to familys or older couples as there is alot of noise. when people say BCM is close you actually dont epect it to be as close as it is. the main strip is only about 5 minutes was but there are lots of bars on the way to it as well i would definatly recommend you to go if you are on hen weekends or stag nights, or a young holiday ......HAVE FUN. x

Although basic the accommodation was clean. The staff at the Magalluf Playa were excellent. They were very friendly and most helpful. (especially when our cases went missing at the airport). I couldn't have asked for a better location than where the Playa is situated. As I said the Magalluf Playa is very basic but all my party said they would definately go back. Infact I have to book to go there again next year.

visited magalluf for the second time with 11 mates. 4 staying in magaluff playa. Very happy with the accommodation with the price that was paid, couldn't go wrong. very clean and the size of the apartment was really good!! the location was amazing nice and close to BCMs to stumble to your room and not far from the main strip! pool was good nice and clean and close to beach. everything you needed not to walk far, bar/food/shops. was well impressed with everything will definatly be going back to magalluf and magalluf playa will be first choice for accommodation

Just over a week ago i got back and it was a holiday of a life time!!the apartments were perfect for what we needed and BCM was right next door! and it wasnt even that noisy around the hotel so if you did want to stop in on a night you could still relax abit.the only thing would be the size of the lifts they are extreamly small! but we're going back next year definatly!! great for yound people not so much for families or old couples.

we have just came back from the magaluf playa and we all had the time of our lives.
the apartment was clean and comfortable and the service was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!
LOVELY PLACE right next to BCM which was brilliant and we also met some lovely people
we are deffo going back next year and we would recommend this location and apartment to all the youngsters out there!!

Excellent location right next to BCM square, apartments basic but ok, room only used for getting our heads down for a couple of hours and due to so much alcholol, not bothered by noise outside. Very close to beach and restaurants also. Staff at reception and bar attached to apartments, very friendly. Never used pool so cannot comment. Would defintely use again when travelling with friends but not suitable for families or older couples. Great holiday!!!

19 of us stayed at Magaluf Playa on a Hen weekend. What a great weekend!!
Staff friendly and welcoming.
Lovely breakfast's at the bar down stairs and pint of vodka an redbull 4Euro!
Apartments were fairly basic, but as we were only staying for 2 nights they did the job! BCM couldn't be any closer!
Lively pool area, good pool bar. Not ideal for families though as very noisy round the pool.
Would recomend this to groups of young people wanting somewhere to get there head down at night.
Thanks Magaluf Playa for a fantastic weekend!

Was at the maga playa apartments whilst holidaying in Magaluf oct 2005.
thought the hotel was great. Staff were so friendly and helped with any problems me and my friends had.
big shout out to Tanya, Anne, Sydney and not to forget Angelo the manager of the bar in hotel.
Pool was mostly peaceful when i was there but i was mostly partying or sleeping to notice.
Very central location as everything within walking distant including the waterparks.
I'd recommend this accomodation to anyone as long as your not stuck up and bothered about the decoration!
I'm going to be working in magaluf for 6 months in april 2006 and oping to get my accomodation from the maga playa apartments as i know i'd have a comfortable stay.

Very basic, sand all over the floor, it took us 3 days to find the very old fasioned kettle. But despite all this we had a brilliant time and met loads of different groups of people the staff were friendly and the room was okay if its somewhere to shower and sleep i wouldn't recommend this place for families though loads of young groups of people!!!! BCM next door n the strip which is the place to be at

fabulous place hotel was great if you just want somewhere to sleep. very basic. food in the bar and restaurant was beautiful couldn't fault it. right in the town next door to bcm how cool is that. loads of bars and places to eat very cheap. very helpful and friendly, the patio door broke and it was mended straight away good service i would go back and use this hotel again not one for the children though too many young adults messing about by the pool and very noisy in hotel. but i think they were with me.

ok so we may be oldies (at 38 and 43) but we still know how to party...had a great time...the apartments were very basic but very good value for money if you just want a bed to sleep in....clean bed linen/towels etc...food in the bar below ( Tom Browns)was very good value for money and a very extensive menu...service was spot on..pool not ideal for kiddies (too many groups of lads/lasses messing about)...good for all ages over 16 would go again...

Stayed in Magaluf Playa last yr with 2 friends.Have to say it is a great hotel! Very big living area, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were reasonable enough sizes. Floor was very dirty though and maids came only about 3 times during our 2 week stay. Pool was ok, played music and bar, though we went to the beach most days which is a 2min walk. Right nxt to BCM and again about a 2min walk from the strip! Has 24 hr bar downstair. This place is not for families at all as it is too lively!! Had a great laugh here though and would stay again.

These apartments are in a very good location and comfortable, even if a bit basic. Very close to BCM, the Shops and the Beach.
The staff were very helpful and allowed us into our room before the due time.
There were 6 of us in a two bedroomed apartment and we had a fantastic time at a great price from Alpharooms.com. Even after "Air-Scotland" cancelled our Tuesday flight and moved us to a Friday flight, Alpharooms managed to change our dates to suit.

Basic is a key word, but Magalluf Playa does a nice job of providing a roomy, convenient stay in Magalluf. I had no problems with anything about the room, as long as you are expecting a Ritz, then you won't either. The room was clean and next to BCM, so very convenient. Perfect for students and young friends - spacious, clean, and not easy to break.

Just got back from the magalluf playa. Had a great time. If you're wanting a place thats near to the bars and strips then this ones for you - bcm is right next door(literally) the strip is about 2 minutes walk and has some great bars with drinks offers every night. The hotel is basic but you don't get pestered by the security guards at night for being noisy. All in all a very handy place to stay..enjoy Dj Spuggy.
