A really excellent hotel, great value for money. We were only there for 2 nights but would definitely go back. Aprroximately a 15 minute walk from the train station in Cologne, which has a transfer train direct from Cologne/Bonn airport, taking 15 minutes & only costing just over 2 euros! The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the Rhine and the old town where there are endless street cafes and bars, boat trips on the Rhine and a chocolate museum (complete with fresh chocolate!). Excellent location, friendly and efficient staff and very good standard of room. We were room only so can't comment on the food available at the hotel, but one of the cafes in the square provides an excellent breakfast buffet until 2pm for 6 euros 45 cents. Have already been looking for flights back to Cologne as it's very handy and enjoyable for a weekend trip.
