GOOD BUDGET HOTEL

We stayed at the Ludwig Hotel in Munich for a week in December, and found the location,opposite the main station, was excellent for travelling to all destinations in the area.  The airport transfer bus stopped right opposite the hotel.

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast was an excellent buffet with hot and cold food.

Our only thought was that we, being from England, would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in our room

Value for money.

Review of 'LUDWIG'

Good value for money. We stayed 2 times there. 4 & 5 November 2006 room 325(double bed) was very good. 9,10 &11 November room 105(double bed) was ok, but room 110(twin bed) was not good.
Good buffet breakfast, great location (just a few steps from the very good munich's local transport. U-bahn, S-bahn, Bus and Tram are just a few steps away). I recomend it to all

Review of 'LUDWIG'

We stayed at the Ludwig for 2 nights (25th & 26th November 2005) and just used it as a cheap weekend base for visiting the Munich Christmas Markets.  The Ludwig's general decor is a little 'tired', but everything was clean and the rooms, which were basic, were perfectly acceptable with mini bar and TV.  The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.  I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich on a short break.  Being situated opposite the main railway station, the location could not be better.
