We stayed 3 nights in Segovia and this hotel (October 2-5, '05) it is a perfect location in the city centre for all the spectacular sights. Just a 10 minute walk to the Aquaduct, 15 to the Alcazar. We had a twin bedded room on the 3rd floor. TV and lots of hot water, the room is cleaned each day and left spotless. The breakfast is unusual in that apart from the usual fare, they offer fried eggs and bacon. The staff are particularly friendly and laundry is turned around in 4 hours. The views are spectacular, we were there for the eclipse. The lifts to all floors are welcome and a nice lounge and bar is open for snacks and drinks. I would not hesitate to recommend Los Linajes. The only slight annoyance is that the plumbing is such that every activity in every room can be heard all around the hotel!

Although in a very pleasant setting with wonderful views overlooking the countryside, we found the entire hotel in need of a good scrubbing. The carpets were old and dirty, the linens worn, and worst of all, the plumbing needs attention. When we flushed our toilet, the water would bubble up to the drain in the sink. That can't be healthy. The buffet breakfast was delightful, however.

Wonderful facility. Had 'Old Spain' feel with lobby courtyard. Had room with private terrace with view over countryside. Room on third level, so no noise issue. It was the only hotel in Spain he were able to find right off by car, since it was well-marked by signs at entry to city. Hotel provided map to garage so no problems there either. Great place, highly recommended.

Found Los Linajes" easily but the garage was a bit elusive! A useful facility though. Ideal peaceful but central location in a historic buliding. Room clean and comfortable and staff polite and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace a bonus. Did not try the restaurant so can't comment.

We were fortunate to have a room on the top (5th) floor with spectacular views across the Segovian countryside. Room was a bit dated, style-wise, but had opening windows and was bright & airy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast could be taken on a large terrace - again with great views. Parking (extra) available in a garage beneath the hotel with lift access. Hotel location is in a quiet area and is a 5 minute stroll to the Cathedral. There is a small bar & restaurant serving basic racciones. There is a rooftop terrace with a few sunloungers & provides a 360deg. view of one side of the City. Staff are non-intrusive & extremely polite. This was a sheer delight after the bustle of Madrid.
