Review of 'LONDON HOUSE'

When I arrived, they informed me the hotel was under renovations. There was no indication of this, however; no construction noise or paint cans lying around. It was quite tidy. I loved the location of the London House because I was minutes from Bayswater tube and a short walk from Hyde Park, Oxford Street and Marble Arch. The hotel overlooks Kensington Gardens as well. Really just a nice place with a friendly staff and affordable price. Most certainly should NOT be a one star.

When we came we saw they are making renovations in the hotel. They gave us a room in the basment which we didnt like when we heard it but when we saw the room we were happy. The rooms in the basment floor are all new and renovated so it was all nice new and clean. we even had a plasme TV in the room!!! The breakfast was nice too. basic but nice and the staff were nice.
The location was fantastic and the free internet was very helpfull. we will go there again specialy if they will finish to renovate all the hotel.

Rooms were very basic. Beds were VERY uncomfortable. Showers unclean. Breakfast very basic, only toast and cerial available... But, generally staff were ok, although some excptions. Free internet acces was good. Close to tube station. good location.
