The London Guards Hotel is located in a quiet square of Lancaster Gate, overlooking parts of Hyde Park and extremely close to the famous shopping area of Oxford Street. The hotel offer a range of rooms from singles to family rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, central heating, satellite television, hairdryer, mini safe, fridge, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities; Irons/ironing boards are available upon request. The London Guards Hotel also provides a restaurant, continental/English breakfast room, maid service, laundry, 24 hr reception and meeting rooms.

The Hotel is well positioned, only 5 minutes walk from the nearest tube. Watch out for groups of tourists buying tickets at the tube, though! Hotel room was nice and clean, quite spacious, as was the bathroom. The presence of a fridge and kettle is always welcome, and the staff at the desk were polite and helpful. Breakfast room was a bit dingy, but seemed clean enough and the contintal breakfast was fine.
I'd be happy to stay there again.
