Good Location & Value for Money

20 October 2008
We stayed here in October 2008 for two weeks and throughly enjoyed our stay and had no problems at all. Lovely clean apartments in a great location close to all local amenities and a short walk downhill to the lovely sandy beach. A very friendly place to stay with helpful staff and a very good cleaning service. The cleaners seem to come in every other day to clean around and replace the towels, which we thought was excellent. We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment myself, husband and two children. The pool area was clean and the swimming pools very clean you couldnt fault them. There is a smaller pool for the little children and a larger pool for the bigger children and adults, with showers on site and sunbeds around the pool, a very safe environment for the children to walk around. We would use these apartments again in the future we were very impressed. SJ - Coventry, West Midlands

Nice Apartments

23 July 2008
These apartments were perfect for a weeks holiday, they are centrally located to the new town full of bars and clubs. The old town, which is rich of amazing restaurants is only a few mins walk or 3 euro taxi ride away. the apartments are located up quite a steep hill, often referred to as "Cardiac Hill" for obvious reasons! We were a group of young friends so just used the apartments mainly as a base, but you did find yourself lounging by the pool as they were so comfortable. They were perfect, clean and the pool is great. Bathroom is best ive seen. Theres was a storage room in our apartment which i used as my personal walk in wardrobe, and its the little things like that really added up. Didnt eat in the restaurant, it always looked quite empty and reminded me of a canteen at home. The staff are pleasant, no characters around but they get the job done. For a quiet apartment at night, its actually quite good as its relaxed and still has a nice holiday atmosphere. One thing though, they really need to get rid of the hideous kids dalmation ride besdie the pool. Totally spoils the aesthetics!! I really would recommend here, and would certainly stay again. Also, i have to say credit where credit is due to Alpharooms. I tried booking these apartments on a package deal in september last year (we ended up in the Lanzarote Apartments, also very nice) and trying to book these apartments through a travel agent seems to cost a fortune. I got an apartment here for 3 of us in april for less than 80euro each, i cant stress how much of a bargain for this place. I would recommend it esp for couples, and small groups of friends who want a great holiday.

Excellent choice

23 July 2008
I stayed in the lomo Blanco apartments the last week of april 2008. The apartment is ideally located, a downhill walk to shops and the beach. However returning back to the apartment is a workout in its self as the hill is very steep followed by a set of steep steps. The apartment itself was on block B and i found it to be of a good size and well maintained. The balcony was a good size also and a table, 2 chairs and 2 sunloungers which came in handy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool at block B was quite small.Yes it was cold in the morning but that is to be expected. On the downside, the entrance to the grounds surrounding the apartments was not closed off meaning anyone could come and go, day and night and whilst we were there the apartment next to ours had been broken into. This did frighten me but we just made sure any valuables were taken with us or locked away in the safety deposit box which could be purchased from reception. Apart from that our over all stay was great! We will definitley go back to lanzarote again next year.We may stay somewhere different though, just because of the steep hill!

from the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful. we were alocated ground floor apartment in block A right beside the pool. We asked could we be allocated a sea view apartment and the concierge got us an apartment on the 3rd floor of the new block..spectacular view of the sea, mountains and the island of fuerteventura. It's important to note that block B is newly built and every thing is brand new very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. it has 2 pools both of which are very cold early morning, they don't heat up until about 5p.m. providing the sun is shining! The rooms are cleaned 5 days a week sunday and tuesday are the exceptions. The hotel have entertainment every night. Internet access cost euro 1 for 10 mins. The tv is euro 6.00 per day this includes all channels 6 of which are english CNN, Shy News, Sky movie Family, Eurosport etc. there is a spar shop located 3 min walk away, pharmacy is located 3min walk away the staff in pharmacy speak good english and are very helpful. perfect location at the edges of the old and new town. I would definitley stay in this hotel again, it cost me euro 270 for the week.

Excellent location for old and new town. Pool not heated so a bit cold. Room has kettle, toaster and all the usal things you would need but No Airconditioning or fan and due to being on ground floor we were unable to open the window during night due to security, however living room area large and bedroom an ok size so not really stuffy at night with adjoining door open. Beds very comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet, bidet and sink but no bath with plenty of hot water all day and evening. Tv if you want it is chargeable and expensive for a little tv, also make sure to get reception to block one of the channels if you take kids as it comes on with the rest. Security on ground floor isn't great as large windows only lock with a lever with no keylock, however no problems while we were there. Reception very helpful when needed. We were in the new block at the rear by the small pool but still has a depth of 0.85 to 1.75 metres. Safety deposit cost reasonable. We would book again here due to quality of rooms and location in resort, but probably request a higher floor when booking next time.

Great place, great location, rooms are great and were cleaned everyday. On the last day we had to be out of our apartment by 12 but they had a place for our bags. Our flight was not till late so we sat around the pools to get a top up on our tan, they have a room they will let you have for an hour to have showers and relax, you just book it free of charge. Had a great time will be back soon.

can't wait to go back

10 May 2007
just got back from the lomo blanco and we had a fab time. the apartments were perfectly located, just 10mins from both strip and the beach and also the old town where there are loads of lovely little restaurants. the most modern and well looked after apartments i've ever stayed in, comfy beds and well decorated. the rooms were always spotlessly clean and had everything you need for self catering, and the comfiest beds!! nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful reception staff who made sure we enjoyed our holiday and had everything we needed. going to book again for october asap!
