Well worth the money
17 August 2006
2 adults 3 kids and something for everyone. We enjoyed our holiday here, we got it for a good price through Alpharooms and were definately happy with what we got. The food was enjoyable and always something to eat, our kids aren't chicken nugget eaters so happily ate the meat, veg and pasta dishes that were always available. The kids loved the pools, we loved the top one as it was quieter but they prefered the busy one in the middle so we had to move about a bit. The people who put the towels out a 6 in the morning were so annoying we just took our chances each day and were often ok at getting one but had to sit looking a towels on beds some days until 2 in the afternoon with no one on them! The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms cleaned practically every day with sheets changed every few days. Would recommend to anyone, however people without kids beware, there are millions of them!!

Review of 'GREEN OASIS LOMA VERDE'
30 June 2006
A bit hilly on the complex, but the staff were very good when we said there was no way we could climb the stairs in the appartment that they had allocated for us, and changed to a lower one. The cleaning left a bit to be desired, they did come in the rooms and sweep, but not mop, so the floors were a bit dirty. Clean sheets were provided, but they were a bit old and grey. The food was very mixed, but we always found something we could eat. We travelled with family which included one child, the entertaiment for her was great. The only worry for me was, several children had falls around the pool, one little boy fell and hit his head, fortunately he was ok after about 15 mins, but it worried me that no-one seemed to be in charge of the pool, so that if something serious had happened there was quite a delay in getting a member of staff to get help as there seemed to be quite a shortage of staff.

Review of 'GREEN OASIS LOMA VERDE'
15 February 2006
We booked this last minute, on arrival our first impressios were great, the rooms were very basic, but clean. There were three pools and our apartment was right on one o the smaller pools which was great for the kids, we did try every pool. The food was okay for what you are paying, i enjoyed all meals, however, the kids did not find a great deal to eat and used to use the snack bar, the only problem with this is snacks are only served at one pool, this is the furthest point in the apartments, this was a drag, as it was at the top o the hill. The drinks were great, and very alcoholic, not like some all inclusives. The kids had a great time, they made lots of friends and basically helped themselves, they very much got on with things, the entertainment on an evening was basic, but enjoyable. My partner, venture out a few times for meals, but all in all we had a good time.
I suppose you have to try it out??

The green Oasis is a great place, the staff are friendly and there is entertainment during the day and at night which is good. The rooms are very nice. The only dissapointing thing is that the food is poor!! Overall I had a great time.

Review of 'GREEN OASIS LOMA VERDE' - First and Last visit
29 September 2005
i have just returned from a week break with my husband, this was a surprise vacation arranged by my husband. initially we were given our first apartment and it had dried blood on the curtains in the sitting room and also the bedroom and also on the door handle between the bedroom and lounge this was most dissapointing, we contacted reception and were given an alternative accomodation which was clean but i agree with other reviews that they are in need of repair. as a couple with no children the layout of the complex was ideal due to the fact that there was three pools, we were able to relax at the top pool and there was not many children in this area and also no pool games were played in the area, this and meeting some really friendly couples was one of the few plus point of the complex. 90% of the food was not appealing or edible and this was the opinion of many of the holiday makers that we spoke to during the weeks holiday. it was apparent that some food during evening meal time was definetly reheated from lunch time. Evening entertainment was definetly very poor and most evening we gave up on it after maximum of 30minutes. Luckily enough we had the money to go out into pueto del carmen and find good resturants and places for entertainment. i would reccomend Mulligans for entertainment and La Cascada for food. it was my first time in Lanzarote and will not be my last, but unfortunatly it will be my first and last time in the Green Oasis Loma Verde. The leaflet in reception informes you that this complex was upgraded in 2000 i find this hard to believe as it shows signs of being in need of that revamp now.

we really enjoyed our stay here at green oasis and have already re booked !! the entertainment was great for all ages with a childrens entertainment to start off the night they would then put on a show for the adults such as fleminco dancing and so on. the food was varied with always something you liked to eat and quite frankly you couldnt ask for anymore i think i put on about half a stone in 2 weeks !! the drinks are unlimited and free flowing, great location and used the free bus to beach to avoid the so called 'cardiac hill' which literally took one minute to drop you off at the beach and shops which was great ! the three pools are all well kept as is the rooms and the complex overall, definately worth the visit or even two! haha ! hope this helps XXxxXX

Review of 'GREEN OASIS LOMA VERDE'
20 April 2005
The place itself is very nicely presented, set in beautifull surroundings with loads of palms & ferns but is in need of some repair & maintenance. The pathways are all crumbled & uneven & the apartments don't appear to have had minor repairs done for some time. Our maid only seemed to make the beds & rinse the bath out - the floors (& our feet) were left dirty.
The pools were very clean but not heated so you get quite a shock when you first get in.
The restaurant did it's best to cater for everyone - there were equal numbers of English, Spanish & German guests, but the breakfasts & lunches were better than the evening meals. Some of the food combinations were odd eg there was chips almost every day exept when we had pizza with boiled potatoes. Having said that we found enough to eat at all times even though my sister is a vegetarian.
The drinks were fine, you could have just about anything you liked including coctails, but they were served in paper/plastic cups for some reason. The entertainment was dire!! All based around holiday camp stuff & silly games. We made the most of the all inclusive drinks then walked into town to the bars.
All in all we had a great time & it was really just the entertainment that lets the place down. They didn't cater for grown ups, just some music or maybe a piano player at the smaller bar would have been great.
