Just returned from trip. Found hotel to be in an excellent, quiet location. Rooms not the best, decor a bit outdated and showers not great. Reception staff were very helpful but watch out for the lady serving breakfast, very grumpy, every morning !! Would probably try a different hotel next time but if we ended up here, it would not be the end of the world.

I booked this hotel for my Uncle and Aunt, having read previous reviews I felt sure this would be satisfactory. They hated it! The room was tiny and airless, they were no tea and coffee facilities, there was shutters on all the windows. Actually the only good thing to say was the shower was great. On the day of their departure the pickup time was 0655hrs, now having paid for their breakfast they asked for a cup of tea and were screeched at......no tea had. Apart from one member of staff the rest were very ignorant.

Hotel in great location. Took shuttle bus directly to Termini and were able, with directions from bus driver, to walk to hotel. Double room was warm and comfortable with good en-suite. Good breakfast, you could eat as much as you like. Reception staff made you very welcome and were polite and courteous. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. We would have no reservations recommending this hotel.

A typical small Italian hotel. Well located in a quiet area and a good breakfast. On the down side it is advertised with a restaurant and bar of which the hotel has neither. As these were two of our main reasons for selecting this hotel we were to say the least disappointed.

The hotel was well located on a quite street with plenty of good local restaurants nearby. The C. Pretorio Metro station is located around 200M from the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. The continental breakfast offered a good selection and appeared to be fresh each day. The reception staff were courteous and spoke excellent English. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the main railway station. English spoken at reception. Rooms very clean - showers great. Continental breakfast 7am -10am. Highly recommended - would definitely use again.

I had read a few reviews of this hotel prior to departure and they were quite mixed. The Europeans were a lot kinder towards the hotel than our friends from the US of A. The hotel was a pleasant European city 3 star hotel. Our room and the hotel in general was clean and kept that way, and the breakfast was more than adequate to keep anyone going for the rigours of a day's sightseeing! All the staff I had contact with were courteous and pleasant at ALL times, and the position of the hotel was excellent to get about the city. Our friends from the USA passed comment about the lack of a bellhop! This is a 3 star hotel with limited staff, thats how they keep the prices so competitive for a city centre location. I have been to many a hotel in the States that doesnt have a bellhop service, and most of them dont serve breakfast either! In all fairness, this is a good value hotel. Nothing more, nothing less! And I would go back to it!

The Hotel Siviglia was in an excellent location for our brief trip to Rome, very close to the Termini and yet in a quiet and tree lined street. It was reasonably priced and had adequate facilities. On the first night the air conditioning wasn't working but it was fixed by the second night. The bathroom was nicely refurbished but the shower was disappointing and there was no shower curtain! The breakfast was varied and satisfying. The staff were approachable but not over friendly. I loved the building for its faded grandeur which gave the feeling of a much more expensive place.
