Truly a 5* hotel
22 October 2007
This is the second time I stayed here, and it seems to get better on each visit, the last only being some 6 months ago.
The suite is very generously proportioned, with tremendous views overlooking the city or river, with separate living, bed and bathroom, together with kitchen area incorporating sink, fridge, microwave and twin hob, everything you could possibly want.
The whole place is very efficiently run, and it's almost embarassing from staff wanting to be helpful, ranging from opening doors, to asking after your welfare. I'm not looking forward to having my feet back on the ground when I return regretfully home, after such a pleasant stay.
The hotel facilities on offer are a fully-equipped gym, sauna and steam room, and for those with excess energy to spare, there's a swimming pool nearby on the mezzanine floor, where all the facilities are situated.
I mustn't fail to commend the lavish array of choices available at breakfast, and if you over-indulge, the various facilities on the mezzanine floor can be put to good use.
I'd strongly recommend the prospective traveller to pay a visit to this hotel, and like me, I assure you it won't be your last.
