Mr. 24 June 2008 The room was adequate although the air conditioner does not cool the sitting room. The staff at the hotel was very polite and helpful. The breakfast food was acceptable, but could be improved. The dinner meals were very poor and need to be evaluated for improvement. We were totally disappointed with the evening meals. 4 day break 22 June 2008 After an uncomfortable early morning flight entering the Las Piramides was a great pick me up. The reception area was clean and beautifully decorated, check in was quick and easy, and the room was exactly what we ordered: On the 7th floor with a breath taking view from the balcony of the mountains to our left and the pool and sea to the right. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a great size with a huge mirror. The hotel's location is very convenient, with the zoo, shopping center, and all the bars and restaurants only a short walk away. The pool area was great with enough sun loungers to go round. A few small gripes though..... For starters, there was only one socket in the room with an adapter for the mini bar and the TV. This meant that to plug my phone charger in I had to unplug the mini bar which we had paid 35 euros to fill! Although the price of the rooms was excellent, the restaurant and poolside bar were very expensive (9 euros for a cheeseburger, 2.5 euros for a coke, 9 euros for a pint of beer and a glass of wine!), however they do have a happy hour where all drinks are 2-for-1 which was greatly appreciated. Jacuzzi and gym facilities were also available at an added charge (3 euros a day for the jacuzzi which was only open for 3 hours!). The lock on the bathroom door was also a bit dodgy and managed to lock us out, but security were quick to come up and rectify the problem even at 4 in the morning. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying there again, as well as recommend the Las Piramides to anyone looking for a comfortable few days away. First holiday with baby 16 June 2008 Just got back from this hotel, having read some of the reviews on here we were a bit worried however we were pleasantly suprised as the hotel, room and swimming pool were all very clean and of a very high standard. There were plenty of loungers by the pool and the whole areae was really clean. The staff were helpful where needed and the facilities for our 16 month old son were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. I would happily stay here again. Short Break 26 May 2008 This is a quite a large hotel. The staff were always very pleasant and try hard to please. The rooms were cleaned every day we were there. The only downside was the breakfast, limited choice and virtually the same things every day. The hotel is in a good position as it is on the outer edge of the busy town but there are many shops and restaurants on your door step. The views of the sea just across the road from the hotel were a joy to wake up to. The marina area is only a 15-20 min walk from the hotel. The pizza's from the poolside bar were absolutely delicious and big enough for 3 of us to share!!! Janet Dunn, Preston Group of Mature Friends/Couples
