My husband, brother and 3 year old son have just returned from the larimar apartments. They are ten minute walk from the beach and centre of Salou. Our apartment was very spacious with air-conditioning, a washing machine, fridge/freezer and two balconies. These are mainly residential apartments and the Spanish lady next door to us could not have been nicer. Bath towels are not supplied and linen is changed once a week if you leave your sheets and hand towels at the apartment door on the day written on your receipt. We hired a toaster and safe from reception at Los Peces which is a five minute walk away. The complex is very secure, one key enters the main gate and also the building. All aprtments have shutters which locked out the sunlight. The noise from nearby hotels and bars was not very loud and finished at midnight. Port Aventura theme park is a 15 minute walk away best to go for 2 or 3 days as you could not get around it all in just one day. The complex is very clean sunbeds are free and the swimming pool is large with a separate childrens pool and a jacuzzi. When I go back to Salou I would not stay anywhere else but the Larimar - great value for money.
