just got back from 10 days in the laguna park 1 better than ever been there for the last eight years the place is spotless the staff are great the area is great for all ages. after all this time we have just found out this bono card you can buy from the supermarkets too use on the buses it cost 12 euros it last for 1 year two people can use it airport too laguna park 1 2euros the same the other way it chokes the taxi drivers. give the place a try derek tootill

I was a bit nervous about going here due to some of the other reviews I've read about Laguna Park 1 but I honestly don't know what they were on about. This place is great, it has everything from pool & table tennis tables to an arcade room for the kids. We had a great view of the sea and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There was always plenty of chairs by the pool and the location was central but far enough away from the crowd not to be disturbed at night. Check out St. Eugene's they've great entertainment every night. We also discovered that Los Americas is only 20 mins walk down the road, €6 in a cab which was great for the busier night out and the shopping down there is slightly cheaper than San Eugenio too. The beach is not as far as it seems. Take the short cut by O'Reilly's (opposite Laguna Park) and this brings you down the hill to the escalators, 10 min walk. I'm already looking into booking here again, can't wait to go back.

Stayed at Laguna 1 for a week over Christmas. Lovely clean apartments. We stayed in Block B and had a sea view. Everyone from reception staff, to bar staff to cleaners were friendly. Poolside must be one of the best in Tenerife. Evening entertainment was good. Plenty of lively bars and nice restaurants in the local vicinity too. Francis bar do excellent food (3 course for 8 euros) and a fantastic breakfast. Do shop around for excursions, the kiosk outside tended to be more expensive than most. Would definitely consider going back and would recommend it to family and friends.

Great apartments

Nice apartments located in a good area, handy for beach and marina. Friendly helpful staff made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Our ten year old daughter made lots of friends and loved the evening entertainment, the parrot show, the snake show all interactive. There is also plenty going on outside the apartments with bars and restaurants in abundance. The only downside we felt was the lack of aircon. However overall we would definately return.

We have just returned from a week staying at the Laguna Park 1 apartments. We are a young family with 2 kids under ten (1 aged 7, the other aged 3)
First thing is the accommodation, we opted for the one bedroom apartment sleeping four. Very roomy with all the facilities you will need, note the rooms do not have AC but you can hire a fan cheap enough 15 euros, as well as other electrical appliances.
The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. The whole complex is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The only down side is the pool, it is very cold and salty (sea water pool) but I spoke with fellow holiday makers and apparently this is the norm in Tenerife.
We only have two minor grumbles, 1. their is very little enterainment at the complex for either kids or adults but their is plently to do in Tenerife that you should be able to amuse yourselves, and 2. the beds were a little uncomfortable but you can't expect all the home comforts on holiday.
Overall if we were to go back to Tenerife then we would consider going back to Laguna Park if we wanted a good quality accomodation at a low price. The old saying is you get what you pay for and we were very happy with our choice.

Great for the price

Just returned from a week in Tenerife, we stayed at the Laguna 1 apts. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean, with maid service 5 times a week, i am very fussy about cleanliness and i had no complaints. The hotel is noisy at night as there are a few roudy bars around, the kid's were always so tired though that they never noticed it!! We spent most of our time in Puerto Colon which is really nice. We will definitely be going back again, but will go for longer... a week wasn't long enough. Would stay nearer the beach though next time. These apts are great for the price though and can really recomend them.

Just got back from Laguna Park 1 (17th Feb 2007. Excellent value for money. Best appointed, cleanest apartments I have stayed in - been to Tenerife 4 times now. Was in block D. Excellent pool views. Everything you need in close proximity - Supermarkets, chinese, pizza, bars, water park, beach. My daughter who is 5 absolutely loved it. Would recommend booking on Alpharooms - checked rates for a week in April direct with hotel. Alpharooms is £100 cheaper. Definitely going back. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Costa Adeje now !!

The hotel has a restaurant but we went self catering I must say this apartment was probably the best of it's type in the area. it is currently going through restoration but I did not hear any undue noise. The apartment was clean and the staff were great. We went self catering but had to hire a toaster at 10 euros with a 5 euro deposit! I think I could buy one for that price! There were plenty of sun beds with a small charge (2 euro) per day for a cushion. The Rum Pot across the road gives plenty of nightly entertainment and for the late nighterers there is the Irish late night bar with excellent live music from an era that I could relate to with requests. St euginos just down the road has a non-smoking main area as well as as a smoker area to the rear with snooker tables and bar. I have usually gone into hotels with full or half board but I must say that I really enjoyed this self catering holiday

Rooms clean and adequate & value for money. Complex appeared safe and secure. Staff helpful. Situated for easy access to beach and facilities. Pool clean but very cold. Very few people used pool because of this.

Excellent Christmas break at Laguna Park 1. Great location, very helpful and pleasant staff who were very helpfull.
Accomodation was clean and well looked after. Entertainment was super and there was plenty for the kids to do.
Had a great stay and hopefully will return there next year.

Comfortable, clean apartments, basic but comfortable. Only downside was that our apartment overlooked the main road and got quite noisy at times from the bars below and from early evening onwards the smell of cooking from the chinese below did get a bit overpowering at times.
Apartments in good location for everything i.e. beach, aqua park and plenty of restaurants and bars close by.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

our stay at the laguna park 1 was fantastic from beginning to end. i have stayed there for 5 years running and i could not fault the place at all. the staff are so friendly and would go out of their way to please you. the entertainment on an evening was second to none. the rooms are currently being refurbished to a higher standard which is great.

Visited Laguna park 1 17 Oct 06 stayed for 14nights. I have to say they were cleanest and best maintain apartments I have stayed in, in Tenerife. It was quite and the balaconies are not really over looked (we stayed in block F). The staff were very helpful (and I noticed they sprayed for cockroches several things(didn't see one in the apartment) be warned 2/3 of the pool is very deep, they do have a smaller childrens pool. The downstairs bar wasn't very good very warm and the entertainment was little and on very late, it didn't really feel like a bar more like a reception. It is close to all local amenities and a short work from a beach and the harbour. We stayed SC but tried the resturant it is small but most people were SC so it didn't matter, The breakfast was ok but cheaper else where. Eating out try Chaplins just down the round. All In All we will be returning next year.

Holiday taken 13th October til 20th October
We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment, with a seperate bathroom and lounge area. Rooms were cleaned every other day along with towel changes. Rooms were spacious and were well worth the cost. The staff were all friendly and we found them very helpful.
After our airline company lost our suitcase, the reception telephoned Tenerife South airport every day for any progress reports. They didn't request a charge and when we offered to cover the cost of the calls, the declined our offer. (All part of the service was the reply)
Pool was big however was cold and was filled with salt water. Once in the pool you soon got over the chill!
We didn't take our grown up children, however there was lots to do for the young famillies that were staying at the apartments and there were activities throughout the day.
Internet service available, unfortunately couldn't ever get on any of the 4 computers, as the teenage kids were always chatting on there msn accounts. I only wanted to check e-mail account from back home however was glad to get away from the stress of work (work e-mail account)
All in all, really enjoyed my stay at Laguna 1 and would recommend it, to all age groups.
By the way - still waiting for my case to turn up (15 days later)

It was the best week ever..so much so that my mom (45) and i (15) are going back this year aswel. we stayed there frm the 19-26th august 05. the pool was lovely, for two people the room was great, spacious and clean. the pool was fabulous with a nice bar and friendly staff, and all the other holiday makers were polite. The appartments are literally 5mins from the beach frount. the night life wasnt too much. All together we both thought i was one of the best holidays ever, the worst thing about it was leaving, but hopefully i will be going back for 2 weeks this year!!

Me and my husband stayed in Launa Park 1 from 16th Dec to 23rd Dec 05. Had a fantastic holiday. Weather nice for just before xmas. We left our 15th month old with our parents but regretted it as this is a perfect spot for families. The accomodation was better than expected. Really clean, towels and bed sheets changed reg. Pool clean and fab. Entertainment there too was great if you didnt feel like venturing out. Close to beach and shops, and regualar transport available if required. Were getting ready to book up for us and our child for next year, and hopefully stay there over xmas. Much recommended !!!

We were the only Dutch in the apartments. The apartments were basic and could do with some improvements, but we saw that they were working on it. Great swimming pool, especially for our kids. The only really irritating thing: every morning at 09.00 hrs- reserving beds. Many people waiting at the sun beds, until they were unlocked and like ants taking the beds and put them around the swimming pool to leave them unattended for many hours. Very noisy til late. We didn't understand that the entertainment started that late, because there were many kids involved. Earlier start maybe a solution? However, nice weather, good food and drinks: great holiday!

Laguna park 1 was a really enjoyable holiday, we went there in jan 05 and we rebooked for jan 06 as soon as we arrived home. the rooms were clean maids came in every other day stayed in b block had lovely sea views the kids really enjoyed it. the only thing that i could fault on was having to carry your cases up two flights of stairs as theres no lift to the 1st floor.
theres a selection of bars and restautants right on your door step, the ship was good for breakfast and marios across the road to your left for your evening meal, and theres a big shopping centre on the corner by the hotel (ladies mangos is a must in there). taxi into playas was about 5 euros but we prefered the bars down by the beach in the porto colon area. we had really good weather the whole week its lovely coming back to the uk in january with a golden tan! would definitely recommend this hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. enjoy your hols!!

Laguna Park 1 is good value for money.The apartments are clean & tidy ,the maids come in regularly to clean up and change the beds 1-2 times a week.The areas that need attention are from where the disrespectful holiday-maker have damaged furniture or walls etc and the outside walls need a lick of paint.Other than that they are fine. The pool is a good size with steps into the shallow end -great for children,they also have there own pool.Lots of sunbeds but people are waiting by them by 8.45am they do get snapped up quite quickly.The entertainment is the only thing that lets down the apartments the guy that sorts it out is a waste of time, he compares at night quizzes,bingoetcWe went out to different bars at night as the entertainment at Laguna Park 1was very average ,the room where you sit is roasting the air-con does not do a thing that is if there is any?Bars we recommend are Garfields,Rumpot,Star Bar excellent nights out.Lots of yummy restaurants Chinese Buffets 5.95 euro's,Bahamma under neath the Torviscas market and Capricio along the prom by torviscas beach . We had a great holiday and would return back to Laguna Park requesting block D again as it had good views over the pool and across the sea .A word of caution if you have kids and they want to go to the kids club & if you are non Airtours they charge 5 euro's a session. Apart from that fun, relaxing , pleasant surroundings near to the bars & shopping centres but not noisy are words to describe this super accomodation especially for the money. Go & enjoy!!!
