What our customers say

Arrived on Saturday evening in time for the "Grand Buffet" dinner. Restaurant full, mainly Spanish couples really intent on having a good time.
I thought this hotel was excellent.  Good location overlooking
bay of Albir one way and Altea/Calpe the other.  Quiet service road between hotel and shingle beach equipped with loungers and
sunshades for hire.  Hotel has a roof top sun terrace and a decent size swimming pool - a suggestion would be for some sunshades. Interesting design on 5 floors, our room 521, was on
the top floor and in the sunshine all day (previously requested).
Spotlessly clean and well serviced every day with quality towels and fresh bed linen every other day.  Buffet style meals of good
choice and quality, breakfasts offered a wide selection which varied daily.  Evening dinner - soups, fresh salad bar, hor d'ouvres, breads, always excellent choices of fish and meats complemented with seasonal vegetables again these varied daily.
Pastries, gateaux, ice cream, fresh fruits for desert as well as cheese and biscuits.  Restaurant managers and staff were very attentive.  Cool clean decor throughout.  Restaurant is on the ground floor with access to the front gardens and pool area.
Above the restaurant is the main large, cool reception area leading to the main lounge were live evening entertainment was
performed (until 1pm).  "Island Bar" serving variety of drinks and lunchtime snacks, if required.  Television room, card room and quiet sitting area.  Access to the large outdoor terrace which overlooks the small garden area and sea beyond.  There is a small swimming area which surrounds the front on the hotel but not really for serious swimming - the sea's for that.  Small grass area with sunloungers but not a great deal of room for these.  Small children's play area but really no other facilities for children.  The surrounding area has a choice of restaurants and bars and a 10 minute walk will take you up to Albir for more shops and restaurants.  Altea, with its distintive blue domed church, excellent sea front promenade and wonderful Tuesday market, is 30 minute walk or 5 mintues on the bus.  Buses are frequent and 1 euro will take you to Benidorm (30 minutes) or Altea. The mountain backdrop behind the resort offers walks with stunnin
