This hotel is excellently located for access to all of the various attractions of Budapest. The layout does not provide for a particularly appealing lounge however this was balanced by excellent rooms with all facilities as they should be. Indeed the rooms were exceptional in their layout, cleanliness and good order Breakfast was well presented and staff at all times were attentive and determined to help. Free internet also particularly appreciated

I chose this hotel because of its location. It is right beside the Opera and the main square Deak Ter where walking tours start. It is within easy reach of the sights on both sides of the river and, for those of you with families, away from the Danube where, at night, numerous ladies congregate who all seem to be looking for a street map!!!
The rooms are well-appointed and clean. Standards of comfort are high and breakfast gives the impression of abundance. I even noticed that provision was made for Asian breakfasters.
All in all, I would say that this was the best hotel I stayed in during my holiday in Hungary.

Just back from 4 night stay at this hotel in Budapest. Staff friendly,given a selection of "what's on" items on arrival including maps etc; room very clean,breakfast buffet style, hot and cold selections so you could eat as much or as little as you wanted. Centrally located ,Metro stop at corner of street outside the opera house.Tour of Budapest (2hrs)was good. Helped us get our bearings and you could hop on hop off.Ticket valid 24hrs.You can buy a 1day /2 or 3 day travel ticket for use on metro,buses,and trams/trolley buses. Great transport links and on time.We will go back to Budapest and definately stay at the K and K Opera .

Couldn't fault it. Helpful staff, good room, quiet, central location. Also markedly cleaner than most hospitals.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights excellent value, service and food top class, can't recommend it highly enough. Very centrally located near a metro stop also. No complaints with this hotel.
