Jurys inn Birmingham

02 October 2007
We stayed at the Jurys hotel for 2 nights; the hotel is modern and well located on Broad Street near to bars, restaurants and close to shopping. Nice big, clean rooms. All the staff were very efficient and polite. There was a good choice for breakfast, from fruit juices, tea, coffee, cereals, and yogurts to a full English breakfast. We would certainly use this hotel again.

Review of Jury's Inn Broad Street

This hotel is pretty much the average for a city centre hotel. The rooms were functional and very clean and a great price for a hotel in the middle of the city. The bar was expensive with prices varying upwards as the night went on. The staff were very helpful when i needed to print some correspondence from the internet and were couteous and efficient. The breakfast was average - very "pre-cooked" and the machine coffee was not good at all ... ! All in all the venue was the background to a fantastic time had by all in our party and we had no complaints.

Just ok but breakfast very disappointing

06 August 2007
Room was ok, very spacious, clean and tidy. But several notches down on some of the Jury hotels i have stayed in. But not bad. Also in a very good location for the local bars etc. The buffet breakfast was awful, not a very good selection and most of the hot selection looked and tasted as though it had been cooked days ago. Definitely not Jurys standard i am afraid. Certainly wouldn't have paid the 10 pounds for it had it not been included in my booking.

Unremarkable modern hotel, well located on Broad Street near to bars and restaurants and close to shopping.  Nice, big, clean rooms.  Food very disappointing: breakfast choice limited to a couple of cereals, a couple of types of fruit.  Sausages severely challenged in the meat department and very fatty.  Bacon is cheap.  OK in most respects, but won't be staying there again.

We only stayed for one night for an event at the NIA, which is very conveniently a few minutes walk away.
All staff were efficient and polite.
The room was clean and comfortable and we were offered the choice of smoking or non smoking (our choice), so no lingering smells.
The bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower.
There was a good selection for breakfast, from fruit juices, tea, coffee, cereals, yogurts etc to full English breakfast.

On the down side bar prices were expensive - over £9 for two drinks!!
And this hotel is used for many simultaneous conventions, so the lifts become very busy at times.

Broad Street was alive and buzzing, and has no shortage of pubs, bars and restaurants.

We would certainly use this hotel again.

Excellent stay at the Jury's Inn. Stayed for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday.  Nice size room with 2 double beds, extremely clean.  Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast very well organised and always plenty of choice.  Would definitely recommend staying here.

A girls weekend of shopping and comedy was required.  Booked the Jurys Inn and could not have got a better hotel in a super location.  After a long day shopping in the City Centre, we returned to the hotel and had a drink (not expensive). The rooms were very spacious with 2 double beds! We were just next door to Joungleurs Comedy Club which is a brilliant night out too.  Breakfast was buffet style and excellent after a heavy night.

Jurys hotel is sold as a no frills business hotel. Its really pretty good with spacious clean rooms ( 2 large beds) nice bathroom with bath and shower and a really great position on Broad Street 3 minutes walk from the ICC and 10 minutes walk from Victoria Square and the shops. Rooms also have tea and cofee facilities but no trouser press.
Theres no gym or pool byt the breakrfast buffet is quite good.
Staff are pleasant and helpful.
As an inexpensive hotel, I would certainly stay there again.

The Jurys inn is in a very busy location on Broad Street but you would not know once in the hotel.  The rooms were very quiet and Clean, and of a high standard. The staff were polite.  Check in was quick and easy. I did not have a chance to sample the food during my stay.

My only complaint would be that young groups of all male or females in the hotel were noisy when coming back at night, and maybee Rooms for Groups and couples should be kept seperate.
