This was the first time I've stayed in Jurys Great Russell Street, but I'll be back. The location is perfect - a short walk from the theatres, Covent Garden etc. If you're coming from Heathrow you can get the Tube direct to Leicester Square and it's just a short walk from there. I got a great deal through alpharooms and would certainly book through the website again. The lobby is quite grand - high ceilings, comfortable sofas. The room was small but with lots of storage space and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was terrific - lots of fresh fruit (pineapple, mango, melon, grapefruit) and service was friendly. The only downside was that the complimentary internet access (ethernet in the rooms, wifi in the lobby) didn't work ... the offsite telephone support said it sounded as though the cable was faulty, so I asked the hotel for another one and it never arrived. But that was the only downside to the stay. Otherwise, this is a comfortable, clean, really well-located hotel and I'll certainly be back.

Just Great!

Usually stay at Russell, but this time tried Jurys and will only stay here in future. Excellent value for money, location perfect. However, to be picky, there are stairs to get into the hotel which could be difficult if you have heavy bags, disabled,staff are good but a little on the slow side, bathroom has extra towels but probably to mop up the water which will cover the bathroom floor because of the shower 'door' fitting. My room 613 was a little cold, the aircon/heater didn't seem to work well, I mentioned it to the front desk and they made notes and said they would look into it but nothing changed. On other sites people have said it's good but other 4star hotels are better, they probably are and also 100 pounds more expensive, for the price this is by far the best place I have ever stayed in London.

This hotel is great hotel, very good loaction and lovely breakfast, the only thing I would say bad about it , it is more like a good 15mins walk to Covent Gardens

Jury Great Russell Street - It's all in the name!

Wow! What can I say, great hotel, great location, great rooms, great breakfast, great all round!! Is it any wonder that this hotel is on GREAT Russell Street! My friend and I were looking for a decent hotel within walking distance to theatres and Covent Garden - and we found it! Would recommend to all. Would also recommend booking with Alpharooms - great deals and web service.

Hotel was superbly located for the theatres and Covent Garden. The Hotel was clean and the staff exceptionally friendly. We plan on staying again

Very friendly staff
Clean rooms, allthough not too big, however adequate.
Shower ok allthough not very powerfull.We were on the top floor
probably more powerfull on lower floors.
Very good english breakfast
Good location and rooms were quiet with little noise from passing traffic.
We would stay again,overall, good value for money.
NB; Second time we have booked with Alpharooms, and thouroughly recommend web site / service.

Great Location for all local and city visits. It's clean and tidy, good staff and comfortable beds.
I prefer to stay here whenever I can and would suggest it to other friends and collegues.
