i went to mallorca for a week, it was one of the best holidays ive ever had, although was a bit dissapointed with the bedding as we had asked for it to be changed and they gave us dirty pillows! apart from that the food is fantastic! and the pools are great fun, i have been there twice now and loved it both times, the first time i stayed in Jupiter. if you have children under 10, then the entertainment is brilliant for them, and adult entertainment is good too! Across the road there is a water park which is worth visiting! the hotel and its sorroundings are just amazing, i loved it x

Excellent choice.

28 August 2008
Bedding and towels changed every day food in restaurant v. good, plenty of choice (bbreakfast, lunch and dinner can overindulge a little so beware), couldn't understand why people queued for the burgers n' chips when there was lovely food avalilable in the restaurent.... nightly entertainment five nights fairly good, with excellent shows on two nights, kids Age 7 well catered for, plenty of activities and kids clubs. pools cleaned out every day, lifegaurd on duty. the staff worked around the clock to keep the grounds well maintained and clean. tho' alcohol available on tap during our stay (aug 2008) there was no drunken out of control behaviour. all went quiet at 12.30, so had no trouble sleeping. Hourly bus to alcudia beach-beautiful white sand, clear warm shallow sea-superb. water park across the road from hotel worth an afternoon visit, child loved it. would reccomend to those wanting and all inclusive with family. Only problem was the bloody midges-take citronella candles. Ohh and there was that awful drainy smell at times...but hey that's spain. one last proviso- be aware those of you returning to spain, just how expensive it now is since the introduction of the euro. go and enjoy.

BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!

25 May 2008
we have been to the hotel jupiter twice now and have rebooked to go back next year. the food is excellent, the rooms are clean and tidy. my two girls made several friends who they still keep in touch with. we went in june and it was excellent. It is the first holiday abroad where i felt at home and could relax knowing the children were entertained especially my youngest. the kids reps were fantastic and the hours they had the clubs in one day were brilliant. the only downfall we had last year was not being able to book our room for a late check out, as we were not leaving the hotel until after midnight. this was a really long day as there was nowhere to relax as everywhere is busy, a nice lounging area would benefit the hotel, as you can imagine with 2 children the youngest being 8 at the time it was a very very long day and we were all absolutely shattered, it did ruin the last day of the holiday. i do understand that the hotel was fully booked but we had tried to book the room beforehand in the uk to be told there would not be a problem so maybe it was the travel agents who knows? enough waffling on the hotel is busy with staff who cannot do enough for you, kids entertained and excellent choice of food, what more could you ask for?

THE BEST HOTEL EVER

24 June 2007
This is a great hotel to go to with kids - you can't get a better complex. The food has a great choice - too much to try. The entertainment is great - your kids will never be bored; they have Kids' Clubs as well. The pools were clean and tidy. The rooms were the same. The staff were nice and friendly. You can't say a wrong word about this hotel. I went with my daughter and family for a week in May but wish it could have been longer. As soon as we got home we booked again to go next year for two weeks. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

the hoilday was the best!

15 June 2007
well what can i say this was the best hoilday i have ever been on i am 15 and i went on hoilday with my parents and loads of there friend for the first few days i didnt meet no-one and was so bored i justwent swimming and played bingo on the night and watched the entertainment and i also used the internet in the reception. when i meet a few people one night then i might loads there are loads of teenagers there i think it is a family based complex it was amazin i meet so many friends there i would say about 50 ppl maybe more, and all 3 hotels well full of english people. i felt like i was at home sumtimes cuz i was like so many english people. the food was lush just right for ruffy teenagers because there was all different ranges of foods. the entertainment was amazin in the day and in the night. and the staff were so kid and friendly. but watch out for the lifts i got stuck it there twice, first time i was so scared and i was stuck in there for half an hour. its better to use the stairs. hehe go there it is a good relaxing hoilday. the beach isit that far and it is such a nice beach. the shops in the town are really cheap aswell. and there are a few good night clubs to go to aswell.

16th may 2007

16 May 2007
Well what can i say, this hotel was absolutely fab. Stayed there last june. Food was brilliant and was catered for all, they even had a childs section. Fresh fruit, ice cream, cream cakes etc.. Twin rooms are basic, but we upgraded to a family room which was better. There were 3 hotels situated on a large complex and there was enough to do for a week. Beware of the charges around the complex for the bouncy castles and the motorised cars! Pools are great and nice and clean, there even was a lifeguard on duty. At night the complex could be quite noisy but as we were in a family room this wasnt so bad cos family rooms are round the back of the hotel. Not loads to do at night but we made the most of it. There was a large cinema screen for the kids, which kept mine quiet for a bit! I would stay at this hotel again and we had a fab holiday at the saturno, the food was the best, should be rated 4star really instead of 3star! It does get crowded but is definitely a great hotel. In the town of alcudia.its not as cheap as people make out and i would say that some places and shops are as expensive as england, it cost one euro for every little ride for my kids! Cost me a euro for one measly doughnut! I would recommend going alcudia, be prepared to take plenty of dosh tho.

Review of 'JUPITER/SATURNO'

17 April 2007
Food at this hotel is good. We always managed to find something suitable and they have an ample choice.

There are 3 hotels at this resort and when we arrived 1st April only the Jupiter was open. A few days later though the Marte Hotel also opened to cope with the Easter Long Weekend people (lots of Spanish people visited for the long weekend).

Weather wasn't so good when we were there and people spent a lot of time insided. It was impossible to find anywhere quiet to sit and read or chat "quietly".
Found a room on the 1st floor of the Jupiter but that was quickly also found by kids who seemed to think it OK to play football there and parents were no where to be seen.
Also ended up with lots of adults playing loud board games and if there were 10 at a table they would have 5 conversations at the same time with each trying to be louder than the other (sort of reminded me of geese all gaggling away).

In the evening for the "entertainment" it is more or less impossible to get a table and lots of people end up sitting on the stairs etc. People had a habit of leaving 1 person sitting guarding 10 seats whilst the others were, having dinner, sleeping or whatever.

Would I go back, no.

But if you like busy busy places then maybe it is for you.

The Jupiter and Saturno Apartments are part of the Club Mac Hotel complex in quiet, picturesque district of Alcudia, just one and half kilometres from the beach. Offering excellent accommodation, this complex is great it has got absolutely everything from facilities to hairdressers and the shops are just down the road so you dont have to walk very far !!! The rooms are absolutely spotless!!! great view from your balcony,
There are lots of different pools from which some are for adults who need peace and there is one for the children with all different activities. The food is absolutely adorable!!! There is also a play area for the children and there is a lake there that you can go pedaling on.> There are lots of different activities from shows to bingo...  Well I had an excellent time and would love to go there again !!!

30 August 2006
The staff and facilities are excellent at this complex. This, coupled with the excursions, made this a great family holiday. The food was a little repetitive, and the San Miguel tasted somewhat different to that in the local bars, but there is plenty of alternatives. The sports were also well orgainised and quite competitive. Entertainment smacked of 'Butlins on the Med' but there is plenty of choice. The pools are clean and well marshalled and the use of plastic glasses reduces the risk of an accident on the poolside. The rooms are adequate, if not a little dull and cramped.

The only issues we had were the lifts (forever breaking down) and the amount of waste and litter generated by some of the guests. Some people couldn't be bothered to place rubbish in bins less than 2 metres away. However, the place was always clean in the mornings, and the staff battled bravely to maintain high standards throughout the day.

There was a little trouble during our stay when some fighting between boozy groups started, but this was handled well and the perpetraters removed.

The market at Alcudia is excellent, but prices are not always as cheap as the main stores in the port. Always haggle, if you don't get a reduction just walk away.

A visit to the 13th Century walls of the old town is a must for history buffs, with excellent views of the Bay of Pollenca and surrounding areas.

Overall, good value for money, and great for the kids.

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Jupiter. Reviews made by all people are valid. We found the food to be excellent- plenty of choice each night and food of good quality. The All Inclusive drinks were also good, good range of drinks on offer and only very small queues to get a drink. The rooms are basic and alittle small for 4 people in them, but liveable in!!
The complex is a massive one and was very overcrowded during our recent stay, the pool areas in particular are very busy during the day and not really suitable for the really young children- we tended to use the free hotel bus and go down to the local beach
Where the hotel fell down for us was the noise at night, expecially after midnight. Lots of kids running around banging doors until all hours(defo not the place to go if you have a baby). The night entertainment was ok, had little of chance of getting a seat unless you were prepared to sit down at 6pm ready for the shows starting at 9.30pm.
Overall the Jupiter does offer very good value for money, but the standard of the accomodation is basic and the complex is very noisy and probably to over crowded. During our stay we didn't see anyone drunk or causing problems and the swimming pools were open all the time.

Overall good value for money - however note some of the other comments - not enough lifts - rooms tired & crowded all valid comments - Most frustrating area though was the fact that it was almost impossible to get seats for evening entertainment.  Food good & staff friendly - if you don't mind the overcrowding and the hustle & bustle of a very busy complex you will enjoy it.

Spent 2 weeks in Saturno. Had fab time. Food catered for most and edible. Room was a disappointment. 2 adults and 3 children had to share 1 basic room. very cramped. no privacy. Lifts were hard work in hotel if family have children. Entertainment poor in the evening but relaxing all the same. staff friendly and helpful. Kids had great time but not much to do for a 2 yr old. Pool very clean. Would recommend and would definately go again.Could easily lose small child though. Need eyes in back of your head.

Have just spent 2 weeks in hotel jupiter, Found my stay while there Brilliant Had A Really good time while over there the hotel has it bad point but mostly the food that it served i found that it was mostly rice & fish most nights althought the complex was very good and there was lots to do, allcudia itself had very good nightlife .Hotel was very clean & the pools were very clean althought several shut during my stay due to vomiting in pool. would recomend this hotel to people who are looking for a family holiday.

We stayed in the Saturno Hotel and I must stay the rooms could do with a makeover and the lifts are a joke only 3 lifts for 10 floors of hotel and with young children its a nightmare, however the food and staff service you could't fault, for kids its great plenty of entertainment, games, pools etc however be prepared its very busy so unless you can cope with lots of people this isnt the place for you and unless you actually obtained a seat in the bar area's outside just after tea you didnt have a chance of getting a seat.

Review of 'JUPITER/SATURNO'

21 August 2005
We stayed at the Club Mac Villas which aren't listed here but part of the same hotel group.

The Villas are excellent - 3 bedroomed properties with a pool between 9 villas.  Each villa has a main bathroom and a downstairs shower room/loo - vital with 5 sharing! - and the kitchen is better equipped than our own home with a dishwasher, washing machine and ceramic hob all at your disposal - ok, you don't go away to cook or wash but these all came in handy during the two weeks.

We ate at the Jupiter every meal in the two weeks and even our 6 year old didn't struggle to find anything that appealed.  Breakfast consisted of cereals, toast, croissants, muffins, cold meats and cheeses, dried fruit (apricots etc) and yoghurts.  Then  you could move onto sausages, eggs, bacon (every other day - other day was heated up ham which wasn't so appealing), mushrooms, omlettes etc.  Lunch and dinner tended to be the same kind of dishes in rotation including curries, chips (obviously), various potatoes, roast beef and pork, paellas, nuggets and burgers for the kids (but they DIDN'T HAVE TO HAVE THEM - they could if your child was the kind to eat them for 2 weeks), and desserts to certainly make the sweetest tooth happy.  At mealtimes you could also get drinks in proper glasses - the one thing we missed was having a drink at night out of GLASS not plastic.

The one thing that spoilt this place was the other Brits - really makes you ashamed the amount of waste that went on with the 'All Inclusive - I've paid for it, I'm gonna use it' mentality.
