ZODIACO, 7, JARDINES DE GAMONAL BLOQUE 4 8 , BENALMADENA, Benalmadena, 29631
Establishment The Jardines del Gamonal apartments are located in Benalmadena and are surrounded by mountains to the North and by the sea to the South, with high temperatures during the winter and up to 5 degrees less than in central Malaga during the summer. The complex is located 1/2 a mile from the beach, 1/2 a mile from the local amusement park, Tivoli, and in the very heart of Arroyo de la Miel, where you can find the train, buses, supermarkets, shops, restaurants and all sorts of facilities. The complex offers gardens and a swimming pool, safety deposit boxes (payable), garage (payable) and regular cleaning services.

What our customers say

We were a group of four, ages ranging from 26 to 54 and found something to suit all our tastes. We've been regular visitors to Benalmadena for many years, but had never stayed in the Gamonal before. We found it to be very well located - between the more Spanish areas and the touristy zone. It cost us 25 Euros from the airport in a taxi. The staff on Reception were extremely helpful and friendly. The accomodation was basic, but had everything we needed (although a bigger kettle wouldn't have been unwelcome) and surprisingly for an appartment in the area, we actually had our linen changed once during the ten day stay, and the towels twice. The garden was lovely for the daytime - and being quiet season we tended to have it to ourselves most days. The only downside was the annoying flies! In the evening the local bars had all closed before we came in for bed so there wasn't much noise. However, as this is quite a residential area, the traffic noise starts at about 6am and can be a bit noisy. There are several place s in the near vicinity for a cheap and tasty breakfast (the Mediteranea was our favourite), and lots of choice for cheap and interesting evening meals - we tended to head towards Bonanza Square, but Manolo's on the busy shopping road, is well worth a visit (especially for it's photographs of the area before the tourist invasion). All in all a pleasant stay - ten days turned out to not be enough to get everything in that we planned though.
