Review of 'JARDIN TECINA'

Very clean hotel,with extremely helpful staff. Food excellent.If you are looking for an active holiday AVOID the Jardin Tecina but if you are looking for a quiet peacful holiday where there is nothing to distract relaxing day in and day out the Jardin Tecina is for you. To assist you males playa Santiago does not have a shopping center but rather a few local shops for essentials. The holiday is absolute heaven, a choice of 5 pools, buffet service or silver service for food, good entertainment at night al fully relaxed.

Good selection of restaurants for lunch and evening. Food - above average selection and well cooked without being exciting. Excellent facitities. Attractive layout which gave impression of limited guests although actually quite busy. Pleasant, curtious and helpful staff. Quiet and majority of clients+60. It was a bit like going back in time- apleasnt experience for those who dont want the high life.

Review of 'JARDIN TECINA'

The Tecina is a beautifully sited hotel in one of the smaller Canary Islands-La Gomera.
It has an extensive site on the cliffs above the small village of Playa Santiago...if you are a golfer its own course adjoins
the hotel complex.
Accomodation is in bungalows spread through the sub-tropical gardens.There are two good pools on the main site and a further pool on the beach at Club Laurel which can be accessed by a lift.
There are four restaurants.In two there is an excellent buffet breakfast with a wide choice of hot and cold dishes available between 7-10-30 a.m.For dinner the main restaurant has a buffet which does not require booking.There is also a beachside barbecue at Club Laurel and 2 waiter service restaurants which need booking.Half-board clients,as we were,can make a choice.
There are tennis and squash courts,a gym and sauna and a daily activities programme which includes some walks.
Prices are reasonable for a hotel of this standard.
