Janelas Do Mar average customer rating 3 (Rated by 55 customers)
5 nights in the Janelas Do Mar was ample time as the weather was not so good,
We arrived at 11.30pm on the 17th April for a 5 night stay at the hotel tired and hungry and discovered that we could not get anything to eat or a drop of milk for a cup of tea as the shop closed at 7.00pm, we asked at reception for some to make a cup of tea but the night porter could not help. The rest of the reception staff were very nice during the day . The hotel was a distance from the strip ,we were in building 2 and the lift got broken the 2 nights before we were due to leave, there was nine floors in the building but thankfully we did not have children with us, but we had to haul our luggage down the stairs for a 4.ooam pick up to get us back to the airport. The weather was not any good so we did a lot of sightseeing on the local bus every day. The pool was not used so we could not judge it, overall you pay for what you get and this holiday turned out to be cheap enough,
The best thing about my stay was…
Bus stop across the road brought us to lots of different places for €1.40.
