The Isla Bonita was built in 1988 and renovated in 1999; the hotel comprises a total of 438 double room spread over 6 floors. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility and lifts. Furthermore, there is an in-house hairdresser’s salon, 2 bars, a games room, an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants, a grill restaurant and an Italian restaurant available as well as a public Internet terminal, a conference room, laundry and medical services, Kids Club and a children’s playground. Finally, the hotel offers access to a bewitching garden where guests may while the day away.

After reading previous reviews on other websites. My wife an I were not going to book this hotel. We are so pleased we didn't. The hotel is very clean and at present being decorated. The staff are helpful and the duty manager is from UK. The rooms are fine, clean and come with a fridge, hob etc. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. If you go All Inclusive you even get towels for around the pool, so you dont even have to take your own. The entertainment was every night starting at 830pm, kids disco and main show starting 10pm to 11pm. The hotel is set about 2 mins walk from beach. We would go again. Peter, Gill, Laura and Karen
