Excellent Hotel
03 July 2008
Hotel Spotless. Very Good value for money, breakfast was good with lots of choice. Staff very pleasant and helpful, rooms cleaned daily. Free Wi-Fi which was useful. The beer prices at the Hotel were no dearer than some of the bars and restaurants nearby.
We would certainly use this Hotel again.
It was our first time booking through Alpha Rooms and will be using them again.

Stayed at the Isabel for two nights with a group of friends. The hotel location could not be faulted, only ten minutes from the airport for 18euros, right on the beach witha whole host of shops, bars and various restaurants nearby. For a great chinese visit PROMO, which is a five minute walk, turn right at BURGERKING and walk approx 100yards. Great service and food. The hotel staff were very friendly and went out their way to provide a good service. Only two things which I can fault was the length of time waiting for bar service and the lack of courtesy rooms when once you had been checked out. Unless your comfortable taking a shower by the poolside, there were no shower rooms once you had checked out. Overall fantastic hotel and would definately go back

relaxing break 8 june 2008
18 June 2008
Hotel only aprox 15 minutes from airport which is great after a 3 hour flight. My friend and I were sharing a twin room which was very clean and tidy. Breakfast is served from 8 to 11 every morning which means you do not have to get up too early. Breakfast good probably something to suit every taste. Hotel is just across the road from beach so you have a choice of sun bathing by pool or beach. Lots of good restaurants and bars close by. Only faults i have with the hotel are the walls are very thin!!! and you can hear more than you maybe want to. Shower is very good but hard to control water temperature which can get a bit hot .
All in all we had a really good holiday with great weather and would not hestiate to go back to hotel again.

lovley hotel staff very friendly especially pedro, very clean and excellent maid service, towls changed daily and bedding changed 3 times during our 10 day stay, very good position in central location on sea front, sea view from all rooms and all rooms very generous size including spa jet shower and bidet, internet access points and very nice bar area, breakfast was good with lots of choice, my only complaint was as we went mid june, the pool area was a little cramped, but as we were across the road from the beach this wasn,t really a problem and the luxury sunbeds with brolley were only 8 euros per couple on the beach, which was well worth it as cushions were very thick and soft, all in all i would tell anyone to stay here it,s perfect.

Lovely Hotel Isabel - June 2008
11 June 2008
My friend and I have just returned from our 2nd visit to Hotel Isabel and once again cannot fault it. This hotel is spotlessly clean, the maid's are very friendly along with the other staff, breakfast is a bit basic but for the price you cannot complain. This hotel is very central to lots of bars and restaurants and literally over the road from the beach. We would recommend you pay this hotel a visit and will be going back again soon ourselves booking through Alpharooms as we get the best rate!.

BEST PLACE IN TORREMOLINOS
03 June 2008
Stayed 4 times now in the 'Isabel' and I can't complain at all. As one walks into the lobby, one can tell how well kept and clean this hotel is. The rooms are very nice and well kept. Don't miss breakfast the variety is for all cultures and yes there are baked beans.
The views are very nice and the hotel is directly on the beach.
Book it and find out.

When we arrived at the hotel we were very impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was spotless. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very impressive but the overall size of the room was disappointing. We stayed for 3 nights and i would definately stay again. Very good value for money.

Great Hotel
26 May 2008
I found this Hotel to be extremely clean. The staff were more than helpful on all occasions. The location is great right beside the beach. The breakfast was lovely and plenty to choose from.Rooms were spotless and shower was great once you mastered how to use it. The only downfall was that there was no entertainment at night but there is plenty of bars near by. Will definatily be back to the Isabel.

Not for the young and livley
25 May 2008
The hotel itself was lovely. Very clean, modern rooms and lovely marble hallways that you do not normally associate with hotels in Spain. We stayed as part of a large group and found the hotel to be relaxing, but the area itself was too quiet for our liking, and traveled to the neighboring resort of Benalmadina for the night life.
The hotel would not be ideal for families either as the restaurant is only open for breakfast (no snacks or evening meals provided) and there is no entertainment at the hotel - i have stayed in 3star hotels with more activity for families. Also, as mentioned in another review, the walls are extremely thin and you can hear people in the next room talking at normal level - not ideal if you have young children.
The breakfast is lovely and although you get the same cereal, breads, meats and cheeses each day, there seems to be a "breakfast dish of the day" which changes daily - look out for the delicious pasta dish.
Overall the hotel is fine for couples who want a relaxing and quiet break as the area in which the hotel is located is quiet. Just don't expect any life in th hotel bar. The bar is always unmanned which would give the appearance of it begin closed, however if you ask at reception they will call a waiter for you.

As soon as you walk up the steps to the marble entrance you get the feeling that you are going to be in for a treat.Fortunately, thats the way it turned out.I couldn't fault the hotel. The rooms, the maid service, the breakfast, the staff were indeed worthy of the four star rating.

great for a short break
14 March 2008
On arriving at hotel we found it very clean and inviting. The receptionist was very helpful explaining that the room wasn't ready yet as it was only 11.00 am but if we were willing to wait an hour we could have a very nice room. He then suggested we could take a sea view room if we wished for 12 euros a day extra this was excellent with a beutiful view of the med. The next morning we made good use of the breakfast which was excellent and probably the best bacon I have ever had in spain. Help yourself from a buffet, fresh orange coffee and tea. The room itself was very good and roomy, beds 2 singles, very comfortable. The only complaint I would have, would be one we read before we went, ie the walls are very thin. Luckily we had nobody staying next to us either side until last night when we heard him talking on mobile and it was very loud as we tried to get to sleep. This was rediculous as he was only talking normally what it would have been like if a family had stopped in the room I don't know. The resort itself was very quiet as it was only march but weather was very hot 25 degrees and we sunbathed 3 out of the 4 days I even had a dip in the pool. The sunbeds however ample for march would have been too few in main season. Wouldn't recommend any of the restaurants as very poor unless you enjoy fish and frozen chips. Maddisons bar was nice just along from Isabel but a lot of bars were closed in march as were the restaurants after about 6 in the evening. All in all wouldn't go back in march but would try again maybe later in season.

Hotel Isabel
13 July 2007
Very, very nice hotel. The room was spotless and cleaned every day to a high standard. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to eat! The bar area was nice as was the pool and garden area - although the garden area was a little small and some of the sun loungers were a bit 'on top of each other', a little hard to get a good secluded spot. Location was great, only 10 minutes (20 Euro) from airport. Lots of nice walks and places to eat and drink. Highly recommended and I think we will be returning!

Myself and my husband stayed at hotel Isabel for 9 nights in total at the beginning of july, it was lovely, the rooms were spotless and were cleaned every day, fresh towels also, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was great, both hot and cold food was available every morning, the outside bathing area was really clean and tidy the pool was cleaned every morning, there was free sun beds and if you wanted there was massages available. The views from our room was overlooking the sea and you only had to walk across the road to the beach.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others, we would certainly go back again.

Have just returned from 12 night stay @ Hotel Isabel. Was very pleased with everything. Room was cleaned every day, nice and modern, lovely shower, good air-con, only small complaint was no fridge in room but was available for extra 4 Euros a day. Breakfast was great, choice of hot & cold, cereals, fresh fruit, etc., all you could eat. Pool and garden were nice - quiet, no music, drinks available from bar to take outside, nice clean toilets in garden and even massages available in gazebo in corner! Beach bars directly opposite for bit more breeze. Location was spot on if you prefer quiet, Spanish atmosphere. Lots of Tapas, Paella, Seafood restaurants around. Short walk to steps (or lift) up to town centre and longer but pleasant walk along front to Benalmedana, all lined with bars, etc. If you want the "Brit Abroad" nightlife head for Montemar. Ferry from Benalmedena to Fuengerola every 2 hours daily up to 4.30 pm. Also train runs from Malaga to Fuengerola every 1/2 hour, with various stops in between, very reliable and cheap. Probably more suitable for couples rather than families with young kids or hen/stag type groups. Would not hesitate to go again or recommend to friends.

19 June 2007
My husband and I had a holiday in this hotel along with our son and daughter and their respective partners in June 2007. It was spotlessly clean, beds changed 3 times in the week with fresh towels every day. The hotel was modern, friendly and well located across from the beach. The breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There was no fridge in our room, they were available for hire but were all taken, so be quick as they must be limited. The personal air conditioning is great, very suitable to your own needs. Would recommend this hotel with no hesitation.

Isabel Hotel
17 May 2007
I stayed at the Isabel hotel for three nights in may 2007. This hotel is amazing value for money. The breakfast was great buffet style with fruits, cereals, selection of breads, cheeses & ham and a fry selection. Room was spotless and brand new and even though i was at the side of the hotel, i still had a sea view. Room was personally Air Conditioned, but note that the Airconditioning only works with the balcony door closed. This is probably the nicest hotel in this area and the best value.

We stayed at he Hotel Isabel for 3 nights in July 2006. It' difficult to find if you drive yourself form the airport, not signed until you are right on top of it. There is a parking garage at the hotel which you have to pay for, but it is a typical small difficult to get in and out of european one. We had to use it as they were tarmacing the road when we arrived and so no public parking was possible.
Our room was on the first floor overlooking the pool and facing the beach. It was a great size for the 4 of us, 1 double bed and a pull out twin sofa. Very clean good size bathroom, loads of storage and a large balcony. Breakfast was ok,I agree that the juice is very sweet and best avoided. Overall we were very happy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

04 October 2006
On our arrival at Malaga airport we had a hire car waiting and was surprised at the short drive to torremolinos. The Hotel Isabel was signposted and easy to find. It was located right on the beach front and first impressions were good. On entering the hotel, it was a beautiful marble entrance, clean and very modern. The staff at the desk were very helpful and English was spoken very well. The room itself was very clean, modern and compact with small wardrobe space therefore it was lucky that we were only there for five days. The shower room had a modern shower with various spa heads which was excellent for waking you up in the morning. The variety for breakfast was very good, however we did not know we could order bacon and eggs until we were there a couple of days and it was only by asking a fellow traveller. Although we would not go back to Torremolinos, I would definatly recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to stay in a modern, friendly and central hotel which was a very reasonable price.

The hotel is nicely located and immaculately clean. We had a very nice corner room on the 4th floor overlooking the sea. Other rooms also have great view but are a tad smaller (not that it really matters). The breakfast was varied and of good quality, it was pleasant to eat on the terrace by the pool. The road separating the hotel from the beach is quiet and you can easily sleep with your window open.

09 September 2006
We stayed in the Hotel Isabel during July 06. The hotel was in an exceptional position on the front overlooking the beach. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very spacious and well furnished. It has very easy access to the airport without airport noise and you can park right in front of the hotel, even in high season The breakfast was very good with plenty choice of cereal, cold meats, fresh fruit (but beware the fruit juice - it tastes like sherbet has been added) every type of bread and buns you could think of. If you wanted bacon and eggs (very lightly cooked) you had to ask for it but we weren't aware it was available until day two. The public rooms were comfortable but were rarely used by guests. This hotel did not serve dinner so everyone ate out but bringing in a takeaway to eat in your room didn't seem to be a problem. This also meant that the hotel was very, very quiet in the evening. No one seemed to use the bar. The pool area was excellent. Although it was straight on to the front it was secluded and felt very private. This hotel would suit anyone who likes very good accommodation but who likes to explore the town and not be tied to using the hotel for everything.

Review of 'ISABEL'
06 June 2006
My husband and I, along with another couple stayed at the Hotel Isabel for 7 days end of May 06. The hotel was not far from Malaga airport around 10-15 minutes in the taxi, the car was big enough to carry 4 people & 4 large suitcases the taxi fare came to 15 euro so that was very cheap.
On arrival to the Hotel the staff were very nice we didn't speak much Spanish so they were very nice when checking in. We stayed in 2 double standard rooms and the rooms were big lots walking space with big wardrobe for us girls. The rooms were spotless with clean bedding, the cleaners cleaned the room everyday. They had a great shower system too.
The breakfast was great you had bacon and eggs on request, along with cheeses, meats, cakes, juices, cereals and the usual. I thought they had a good selection for everyone. The staff were always very friendly and happy to help.
The pool area was nice and private, the beach was just across the road and all shops, restaurants were all walking distance. For clubbing we had to get a taxi to benalmadena which only took about 10 minutes. We also went to the water park and it was a great laugh kids would love it wasn't too far from the hotel 7 euro in a taxi.
All in all we enjoyed the holiday, TORREMOLINOS is a lovely place, we had a easy days by the pool and went a bit mad at night but it was great fun and we're already talking about going back in a few months time. I would recommend it to anyone, couples and families its a great spot only wish we booked more than 7 days.
