My stay at The Iroquois was a last minute booking through alpharooms and I wasn't sure if the room had been confirmed. However, when I arrived at reception it was as if they had been expecting me and there was no need to check any details on the computer. This added a particularly personal touch to checking in. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which can be unusual in New York. The room felt very luxurious, with egyptian cotton sheets and duck down duvets. The flat panel LCD television was also a joy to watch. All in all a very pleasant stay.
