What our customers say
Although not the easiest hotel to find, once located there were absolutely no problems. The outward appearance is a bit austere but misleading, as once inside everything is excellent. I arrived by cycle mid-afternoon, a bit too early, and although the young lady on reception was surprised - I don't suppose they have many Englishmen turning up by bike - she could not be more helpful. My room was clean, spacious and very comfortable, the en-suite facilities spotless and unlike some French hotels everything functioned perfectly! The bike was safely locked away in the underground garage free of charge. The restaurant was closed that evening (Sunday), so I cannot comment on that, but the buffet breakfast the following morning was good, with a range of cereals, croissants and bread, cold meats, etc.
All in all, no criticisms whatever, but I would suggest that when a booking is made directions are given to find the hotel - I was fortunate by having to walk through the extensive road works and have time to get my bearings! A simple street plan of the area available in reception would be of great help - it is only a 10 minute walk to the Gares Flandres & Europe area, but easy to get lost!
A very good place and recommended.
