A sprawling complex which does very well to primarily cater for families. We arrived in early July to beat the 'UK' rush and the hotel was not too busy.It has 2 very good adult swimming pool also a couple of childrens pools and I'd recommend heading for the pool at the top of the hill if you can stand the hike as it is quieter. The hotel has an atmosphere of a small international village due in part to all the rooms being apartment style and the general scale of the development. This took some getting used to after spending holidays in more traditional hotels. The architecture is quite pleasing on the eye and apart from the whole complex being on a hill it was a pleasant place to stay. The rooms were above average and offered enough space for a family of three.

I'd grade the hotel as a competent 4 star mainly because the eating experience is best described as adequate unless you enjoy eating buffet style every night in a 'canteen' like atmosphere. We ended up only eating there twice in the evening even though we were half board.I can understand why they do this as because most of the clientel are families the restaurant gets very busy between 7-8 pm and that is one way to get around mass catering at peak times. It would have been better for there to at least be an option of being able to swap to a la carte for a couple of evenings. The rest of the accommodation is very good and caters for most of the needs of even the most demanding families. It has kids clubs and a creche although I didn't feel that it was good enough to leave my 2 year old in as it seemed to be run by a couple of disinterested supervisors with little or no English communication to the children. (The hotel nationality split was approx 25% UK/Irl, 25% Dutch, 20% Belgium, 20% German, rest Spanish and Italian, so quite a cosmopolitan bunch!).

In conclusion I would recommend this hotel if you do not mind staying in a large lively complex and try and forget the 'posh' holiday camp aura. There was something for everyone but I stress it is mainly geared up for families and I would not recommend it if you do not have kids as it would drive you insane! If you must then I'd try the Prestige next door as this had the 'snob' factor and it was quieter with fewer children. The food as mentioned before is buffet style in a noisy environment and there is not a huge alternative choice of restaurants in the resort itself so bear that in mind.
