This was our second stay at The Incosol, both times in January and at very reasonable rates for a beautiful 5* hotel in
Marbella. Unfortunately this time, we had experienced some terrible weather in the previous few days of our precious 1 week winter holiday and we were looking forward to sheltering in the exceptionally modern and comfortable lounges and gardens. Things deffinitely looked up on arrival. We were shown to a small but very well equipped and comfortable room and even better, the sun came out....Full use was made of the lovely gardens and we headed for the beautiful heated outside heated swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and flowers. Unfortunately one of us (not saying which) was so excited at the sight of the sun and all this luxury, that she walked straight into one of the sunbeds, causing a nasty gash on her shin. We were very well looked after by the hotel, who took us to the beauty and medical area,where a most professional and helpful nurse immediately dressed the wound. Unfortunately the injured party couldn't therefore use the wonderful pool and the warm swirling inside jacuzzi,which was surrounded by tropical plants and was a lovely place to just sit and read, away from the cold wind. That night, despite the sun in the day time, the heavens opened again, the wind howled and it even snowed. Next morning after a really top class breakfast in their lovely light and spacious restaurant looking onto all the gardens, we discovered that rain had come into the bedroom. Within minutes of reporting this, maids, plumbers, electricians and manager had all attended to view and we were immediately moved to a larger and even nicer luxury room with fabulous views over the gardens, golf courses and countryside. We had wonderful service at this gorgeous hotel and enjoyed our time there, with particular thanks to the staff for their excellent service.
