The Hotel Impero occupies a prime situation and is located next to the Theatro Del Opera, near the central station, Via Veneto, and the Spanish Steps in central Rome. The hotel is a traditional building and no two rooms are alike. Rooms are spacious and are equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a hotel of its class, including satellite TV, a mini-bar, air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom. Some feature murals and parquet floors. Smoking is not permitted on the property. The Hotel Impero also includes a bright breakfast room called The Winter Garden and a roof terrace with splendid views over Rome.

We have just come back from a 3 night stay at the Impero and really enjoyed the hotel and Rome. It is a five minute walk from Termini station and in a quiet street. The hotel was perfectly adequate for our needs and very good for the price. Breakfasts are OK but they could have provided a slightly healthier option! Excellent position and within easy walking distance of the main attractions. The farthest attraction away was the Vatican and you can catch a number 64 bus to it from Termini station (although we did walk it in 45 minutes via Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon). Can recommend the local chinese restaurant a couple of doors away from hotel.
